Hallandale Beach Verizon Wireless Bought Phone and They Scammed Me With The Gift Card I Was Supposed To Receive Hallandale Florida

I went to upgrade my cell phone at this location and was helped by an associate at the store.  He told me about a Samsung Galaxy phone and said I would be able to get a $150 mail in rebate gift card.  He even prepared all the documents for the mail in rebate, placed them in an envelope, addressed and sealed it and told me to mail it in a week, just in case there were any issues with the phone.  I thought he was being extemly helpful and it saved me a headache of having to copy everythig and figure out what get's sent for the rebate.   I even went back a week later and upgraded a second family memebers phone cause I thought they were treating me so well.

Sadly, I was wrong.  It turned out that I was never elegiable for a $150 rebate and only a $50 rebate.  Althugh he kept on telling me that it would be $150 he knew the entire time I would only get $50 and was just trying to make the sale.  How d I kow this?  Because when I saw a copy of the rebate forms that he sent to the rebate center he checked off the $50 rebate! I called him and at first he acted shocked that it wasn't a 150 and insisted that it should be and I should contact rebate centers, which I did.  After him sending me on a "wild goose chase" he changed his tone and no longer admitted that it was a $150 rebate and made vague statements about the amount and began implying that I was mistaken in the store about what he said.   There is NO QUESTION ABOUT WHAT HE SAID!  He even contuned the sharade at the first couple weeks after I realized I only got a $50 rebate.   

After speaking with him again, he agreed to email a supurvisor that would handle the issue. I was CC's on an email to the "supurvisor" but I never got a response from anyone since then.  At this point I've decided to write off the loss.  However, I just wanted to warn everyone else to be very cautious when buying a phone at this location.  THEY WILL SAY ANYTHIG TO GET A SALE!
