Handy Charged Me and Didn't Clean San Francisco California

I had a biweekly cleaning appointment with Handy. I was out of town but my roommate was apparently home sick. When the Handy cleaner entered our apartment she saw him vomiting in the toilet. 

The Handy employee very kindly offered "If this isn't a good time we can reschedule" "really it's no problem" "I can come back at any time"
He accepted this offer and I was charged for the cleaning. The cleaning person did not return the key. 

I emailed Handy support to resolve the issue, I didn't ask for a refund, only future cleaning credit. They said I had to cancel 24 hours in advance to get a refund since they have to pay their cleaners. I explained that their own employee offered to reschedule claiming it was no problem and their second response email said it was a cancellation/reschedule policy. I explained 3rd time that all I wanted was the credit that their own employee promised me, and they should escalate this to their superiors. The answer?

"Hi Spencer,

I spoke with my superiors about your situation. They stated due to the fact that you agreed to the reschedule they cannot offer a refund.

All the best,
Samantha"

In addition, I initially I "rescheduled" a cleaning for the next day. This time the cleaner could not enter because my house key was missing. The previous cleaner had not replaced the key. I was still out of town and didn't check for the return of the key. They charged and would not give any credit for this either.

So far they have charged me $162 for not cleaning my apartment.
