My Family rented the Figer Lakes Guesthouse for the week of New Year's Eve. Contact was made in August 2015 and full payment was received by owner on August 2015. Three weeks to the check-in date, the owner calls the contact person in my family and says that the reservation is cancelled because of a problem with the certificate of occupancy. We asked for the money back and it is now more than a month after the cancellation and have not received a penny yet.

Two months after he cancelled our vacation we got our money back. Please be very cautious with this owner. After we received the money, instead of apologizing he texted "this is the part when you say thank you". What???? He is very unprofessional to say the least.
