Harrison Realty Horizon Global Enterprises LP Rented a house that's currently under Foreclosure Lithonia, Georgia

On June 3, 2010 I rented a house via Harrison Realty (Eliot G. Harrison). I gave Mr.Harrison $1000 for rent the same day I signed my lease. He listed the rental property on Social Serve website. On the evening of June 9th two people came over to the house from Bank of America Foreclosure Team and advised me that this property is currently under Foreclosure. I contacted Mr.Harrison after they left and he stated to me that the house was not listed yet and he will take care of it the next morning and not to give them a copy of my lease. The next morning Mr. Harrison calls to say that the house is not under foreclosure and I'm fine with remaining in the home. I had already contacted the bank, I explained I was a tenant and they verified the house is in foreclosure. I googled Mr. Harrison and his Company. I found out that his Real Estate license(#267402) has been revoked since 2007. The site provided me with the Disciplinary Sanction code 070024. I contacted the Real Estate Commission Office and they advised to me contact the Broker, Sondra Harrison(#248434). I preceded to contact Mrs. Harrison and advised her that Mr..Harrison rented property to me knowing it was under foreclosure. She stated that Mr. Harrison was her husband and that I needed to find somewhere else to stay. So with no help from the Broker and contacted Social Serve to advise them of the issue. One of the agents from Social Serve passed my information to Suzanne, she called and I explained everything to her. Suzanne verified the house is under foreclosure and Mr. Harrison license is revoked and removed all 45 of his listing from their website and contacted the Atlanta and Dekalb Housing Authority. Suzanne advised me that Mr. Harrison should not be renting property under the Companies Name due to the revoked license and it should be a criminal law in Georgia. I also found the property on a Foreclosure website, realtytrac.com. I contact Mr. Harrison on June 11, 2010 and requesting my money back. Mr. Harrison stated that he understood and will have my $1000 on Tuesday June 15, 2010. I contact Mr. Harrison that morning to see what time he would arrive with the money, he stated when he get it. The next day I contact Mr. Harrison again and stated that he needed to bring my money. I let Mr. Harrison know that he scammed me out of $1000 due to his property pending foreclosure. His response was he know. I advised Mr. Harrison that I will proceed with further action against him by law. As of today Mr. Harrison has not contacted me. I've viewed his criminal information on the Dekalb OJS and that may be the reason why his wife Sondra Harrison wasn't any assistance to me. Today is June 21st and I have not spoken to Mr. Harrison and he has YET to return my money!

I've een speaking with one of the Bank Reps on a daily basis. I did provide them with a copy of my lease. I have contacted the Dekalb County Police Dept and filed a report. I'm currently waiting for a detective to be assigned to the report.
