Harry Frank Towers calls himself a dance music promoter.  He charges thousands of dollars and does absolutely nothing.  In fact, he gives the client a list of places where they should submit their music and video to... instead of doing it himself.  Isn't that what you pay a promoter for?

When you give Harry Frank Towers of Deet Promotions a song, he submits it to his friends and then gives back a fake report of who is playing it.  He does not give proof that the song is being actually played by these people.   In fact, I personally checked with some of the names on his so called list and they were not playing the song.

He will not get your song on mainstream radio.   He will not book you.  He will not get you interviews.  All he does is send the song out to a list of mix show DJ's who will play it on an internet radio station.

Oh.  He also sends it to his friends at ZipDJ.   He won't send it to any other record pool.  If you want that done, you have to do it yourself.

I was no better using Harry Frank Towers of Deet Promotions to promote my single.  It did not expand my career.  It did not get me gigs.  It did not get my song known.

We also won't mention how slow he is doing things.  Beyond slow answering emails.  Beyond slow getting any feedback back to you. The whole company is a joke.  But I take it as a learning experience.

It's About Time Somebody Spoke Up

AUTHOR: Lenny - ()

I might also add that he says he promotes videos and then gives the artist who paid him money to promote the single a list and tells them to mail the video themself.

I too checked out some of the DJ's who were 'playing my single' according to him.   They stated that they were not.  How embarrassing?  Even more embarrassing when I brought my friends to hear a particular DJ who was playing in a club that was reported to be playing the single by Harry Towers and he told me in front of my friends that he most certainly was NOT playing my single.

He also never gives feedback from A List DJ's who may be playing the single.  He only gives mix show DJ's, playing on Internet Stations.

Beware.  Maybe he was good in the day he worked with CAPP Records.   But even CAPP Records doesn't use him anymore.

And lets talk about those embarrassing press releases with spelling mistakes and how the links expire all the time.

Stay away.  Stay far far away.
