While extensive complaints have been published for numerous Cydcor offices all over the country, I find it useful to name the recently established office in Hartford CT. Hart City Executives (yes..pretentious, and perhaps a play on "Hartford CT" as well).

This is just another Cydcor outfit, so after seeing their response in the inbox, don't get too excited for that interview scheduled tomorrow. If you've already gone, listening to the ambiguous job description and promises of "promotions" secured you a second interview, which--to avoid curiosity--is going door to door for 7.5 hours.

As others have stated in other Cydcor reviews, the lack of "starting fee" elimates the outright scam signs, but an incredible amount of time, gas, and vehicle wear and tear compose an apt substitute for a typical pyramid-scheme initiation.

To conclude, Hart City Executives may be a company to avoid, unless you are truly interested in joining the Cydcor cult--in that case tomorrow's interview is your opportunity.

Please review CYDCOR on google and here on ripoff report, for more details.

Good luck with your further job searching.

Please allow us to clarify a few things....

The "complaint" is as follows:

While extensive complaints have been published for numerous Cydcor offices all over the country, I find it useful to name the recently established office in Hartford CT. Hart City Executives (yes..pretentious, and perhaps a play on "Hartford CT" as well).

***It is correct that our name is a play off of our location. Residents from Hart City as the city is more effectuality known as by fellow residents, seem to embrace the support of the city.

-Cute.

This is just another Cydcor outfit, so after seeing their response in the inbox, don't get too excited for that interview scheduled tomorrow.

***The company Cydcor mentioned above is simply a broker whom provides our clients and
client support. Our firm is an independently owned and operated company.

-Simply a broker?  As in, we just signed a sales contract with Staples, let's find cheap independent labor to peddle the product?  If you're a trucking company contracted to move product for a supplier/distributor, your field sales reps are the company drivers.  Zero say on the terms, and you don't even provide a proverbial truck.

If you've already gone, listening to the ambiguous job description and promises of "promotions" secured you a second interview, which--to avoid curiosity--is going door to door for 7.5 hours.

***Our company specializes in commercial business accounts. We do not work with a residential market; therefore, there is no residential door to door involved with either the position or the second interview.

-Notice the writer specifies "residential".  Don't be fooled, it's door-to-door sales to small businesses.

As others have stated in other Cydcor reviews, the lack of "starting fee" elimates the outright scam signs, but an incredible amount of time, gas, and vehicle wear and tear compose an apt substitute for a typical
pyramid-scheme initiation.

***1. I believe the author was trying to spell eliminates vs elimates.

2. It is correct that we do not have a starting fee to work in such a great environment. In fact, we even offer pay for training in addition to gas incentives for those who do use their vehicle to commute to companies daily. Our company offers resources to those who do not drive.

-Pay for training is $300 a week, or $7.50 an hour.  I worked there for two months, no indication of fuel reimbursement was ever apparent.  When I asked for it, I got the runaround until I gave up.  Company resources to those who don't drive amount to carpooling.

3. A pyramid scheme is a system that allows agency rights to be sold to an increasing number of distributors. We do not wish to sell any part of our company.

-That's a pretty narrow definition.  The pyramid at Cydcor involves directors, to owners, to account executives, to entry level.  You are not selling a part of your company -- this is correct; you are, however, building a business based on endless expansion; e.g. "hire in masses".  The incentive to hire people under yourself is high even if they horribly underperform, because a percentage of every dollar that person brings in once they are on commission makes a stop all the way up the chain.  There is no concrete corporate structure beyond endless expansion; and you can endlessly expand because there is negligible (or no) overhead.

Give it up, guy.  You're no different than a guy in an alley with knockoff watches.  The only difference is you have an office and a website.  Any bag of sleaze could run your "business".

To conclude, Hart City Executives may be a company to avoid, unless you are truly interested in joining the Cydcor cult--in that case tomorrow's interview is your opportunity.

***The definition of a cult is as follows: A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.

We do not practice religion in the work place. However, if the author of this report is referring to our culture in the office (which is an exciting, fun, challenging, professional environment where you can learn and grow with a company vs being a statistic with the department of labor) he is correct. We do devote ourselves toward growing with honesty, integrity, professional values and the success of our people.

-Hilarious.  Eat it up if you want.

Please review CYDCOR on google and here on ripoff report, for more details.

***In addition, please be sure to check out all of the volunteer and charitable work that the broker has done with Operation Smile, Juvenile Diabetes and the Boys & Girls Club.

Good luck with your further job searching.

-And the gentleman resorts to the straw man.  You listed Wal-Mart, Samsung, a DMV, and two technology companies...in a positive light?  You listed those companies like it would insane if someone said those were bad places to work?  I mean, really?  Does anybody out there think Wal-Mart is a good place to work?  How about a DMV -- does that seem like a place you'd like to spend 40 hours a week?  Our friend here just compared working for Cydcor to working at those places.  Decide for yourself.
