I purchased a horse from Judy and Larry Noyes in April/May of 2017 and boarded my horse with them until we moved 7/30/2017. I purchases "Ebony Super Gold" - Anyone can ride. Trainers have viewed her youtube video and have their doubts as to this horse even being sound during filming. I don't know, I'm not a vet. I explained to Judy and Kaci how I also have an autistic son and would love to have a horse where we can do therapy with eventually again. I also originally called them about a gelding because I didn't want a mare again but Judy convinced me to take a look at this mare she had. I did, and I'm not blaming her for "convincing" me of looking at a beautiful palomino mare she had however, this mare was far from being "broke and anyone could ride". She was sweet as can be on the ground but under saddle, no way. She is not sound at all. I even went above and beyond by having a saddle fitter come out and ordered a specific saddle just for her to ensure our ease of riding. This mare was anything but "beginner safe". Since having her at my property, within 2 months she broke my pelvis and I now have rods and 12 screws - she beat up on all the other livestock at our home (goats, other horse and ducks). She's spooky, she bucks, she rears up, she is nothing as described/advertised. Also, she always wants to "trot, trot, trot" - my trainers have a hard time even getting her to gait and stay in gait yet she is a registed TWH.

NOW, my faults are here too, I trusted these people and felt they were good honest people which you should probably never do in the horse world - however, I operate under honesty is the best policy and I am too trusting and give people the benefit of the doubt. This horse has been to 2 different trainers, for months at a time which cost me more money and they are both saying the same thing, this horses issues were "bought" and not created since being here for the few months she was. I never even got to ride her, she broke my pelvis spooking on the ground before I ever got to even ride her. I can't sell her, I would feel horrible if anything ever happened to anyone else. I feel I paid a premium price ($5,500.00) for a "BEGINNER SAFE" horse and she is not. I've reached out to them on multiple occassions, via email and phone with no response. Now their contract states no refunds will be given, and I'm fine with that, but I have a horse that nobody can ride and they have not even responsed to either my email or phone calls. When I questioned them about why she was still there, Judy had told me that they had a girl that had "paid a deposit and was purchasing her but was trying to come up with the rest of the money and Judy was being too nice and that's why they had her so long". RED flags I guess looking back I should have seen.

I have no problems with paying a premium price for a "broke" horse as their is no such thing as "bombproof" because they are animals, however, we got nothing for a premium price! BUYER BEWARE. I don't like to do these sort of things because I feel like sometimes things can be worked out but they don't even respond to my emails/call so I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Just be careful. I still walk with a limp to this day and all I wanted was a broke/sound horse to ride but I ended up with a $100,000.00 pelvis and an unsafe horse.
