 My name is Jill Turner and I am the person referred to as "said niece" in this report. This report was made by an estranged family member who had no first hand information. She was adopted and raised by another man and had only recently been in contact with her father. Her father was the man who's items were stolen after his death. Kathy Smith was left solely responsible for the cost of her brothers funeral, burial and head stone. The young lady that posted this did so out of anger because she did not get the stuff that had to be liquidated to pay his final expenses. Jodi Smith l, the author of this report got all the cash money her father had and paid nothing in his funeral. It was my trust fund referred to as being stolen by Ms. Smith. It was $5000 not $35,000. I received all the proceeds of my trust upon the birth of my first child. No money was ever misused, misappropriated or stolen by Ms. Kathy Smith. My grandparents died intestate. Their assets were not stolen. There were no assests. Those of us that were a part of the family all received memorabilia and keepsakes from our grandparents. It is my opinion that Jodi Smith wrote this out of anger because she was not given everything at her fathers death. But she didn't find the courage to put her name on this report or state she refused to help pay for final expenses and bills left upon her fathers death. No warrant was ever issued by any agency regarding a lawn mower. Once Ms. Smith was notified the lawn mower belonged to the county it was promptly returned. Ms. Kathy Smith runs a top notch business. She was my fathers bookkeeper for many years and there was never a problem. No ones business should ever be tarnished like this especially by an estranged family member who was mad because she didn't get everything. She got all the money and Ms. Smith was left to take care of the bills. This was not posted by anyone who is a customer or had an unpleasant or illegal business transaction.
