I bought two different HP cameras in May 2006. Each qualified for a $150 rebate. I sent all the required information by snail-mail, and also registerd the rebate on the Web. I got a confirmation e-mail from HP Rebate Center for both rebates.

After 8 weeks, I had not heard anything from HP, so I called them to find out when I could expect my rebate. The person who answered the phone said they had no record of either rebate. They said I could fax the documents to the rebated center and they would process the rebates. I faxed the information (thank God I kept a copy of everything), and waited.

I called back two weeks later, and they said they had no record of the rebates, but I could fax the information. I confirmed the fax number was the one I had, and refaxed all the info. Again, two weeks later, the same thing - no record, I could fax.

I did this four times! Finally they said they had it. This was August 3rd, 3 months after I first send the info. I waited until the middle of September, when I finally got one of the rebate checks. I called about the second one, and they said they had no record of it. I talked a supervisor, Nicole, and she said she would take care of it.

I got a letter in October stating that they could not process the rebate because they did not have the original serial number from the box. I called and talked to Brittney. She said if I told her the e-mail confirmation number and the serial number, she would process the rebate. I called back the next day, gave her the information, and she said it was all taken care of. I would get my check in about 30 days.

That was 6 weeks ago, and no check, so I called today to find out what was going on. I somehow got Brittney again, and she said that I needed to give her the confirmation code and serial number then she could process it. I am so pissed off right now. I told her she was an F*ing liar and she hung up on me.
