We made a phone payment for one account with HFC. They used the information for one loan with them and then electronically stole the exact same amount and applied it to another account we have with them (and the payment was not due nor the amount they stole). I asked them for a letter stating what happened. They told me on the phone this type of theft has happened before but never with the rep who stole from us.
The only thing they did was say it was a mistake in writing which is a bold face lie based on their own procedures. Now they have filed for a judgement against us. Guess what now we will counter sue those thieving liars. I would like to see who else had there personal bank account electronically pilfered by HFC.

I too am having issues with Household Finance
AUTHOR: B - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, March 03, 2004
I too am having issues with Household Finance. I
bought a 65-inch Television from a mom and pop
owned company who used them as their bank.
Not only did they not regard the contract agree-
ment I had with the company( don't pay for two
years) I had no customer service rep that could
be reached. After 1 year, I finally reached one
rep who informed me that I must fax the correct
paperwork over. In the meantime, I was still
charged for my item. After faxing it over, they
still continued to charge me, claiming that they
could not reach my mom and pop store I bought
the item from. I am yet and still being charged
by the company and I have contacted a lawyer who
plans on helping me draw a lawsuit against them.
