HH Gregg... GE Money Extended Warranty Rip Off Extended Warranty Rip Off Fort Wayne Indiana

I purchased a 42" plasma tv from HH Gregg back in Aug-06 and purchased the 5 year $499.99 warranty with my tv. It has now been not working and has not been in my possession for two months today. I finally recieved a response from GE money that they would replace my tv and that I sould contact HH Gregg for my replacement. I called HH gregg and they gave me a choice of 2 televisions to chose from one tv was $500+ less than what I paid for my tv and the other was $1000+ less!! And that I would lose the rest of my 5 year warranty. They said that they are the compariable models cause they are both 42" and they are both Plasma's. After arguing with the assosiate and then her manager and she told me that I should of read the warranty cause this is my only choice and then she told me that it's up to GE money on what they repalce the tv with. So. . .I called GE Money. They said that they did agree that the tv should be replaced and was not cost effective for them to fix it and it was up to HH Gregg to find a comperable model to replace it with. So. . .I called back HH Gregg and the wonderful associat agreed with me that the tv's were not comperable models and she talked to her boss's boss and also agreed that it was not comperable model. I recieved a call back 5 minutes later and they said that I need to deal with GE Money directly to get my tv replaced. So. . .I called GE Money. GE Money still stands that a 42" plasma is a 42" plasma. So. . . tick. . tock. . . tick. . . tock 2 months and still waiting for a tv that I paid $500 for a warranty for just to have an option to get a tv that's more than half the price of what I paid for!! So a Lexus is the same as a Kia both have four wheels and four doors!! (sorry Kia owners) So Beware if you purchase a tv with extra features like the 120hz or some other great feature thats out there right now over another tv that doesn't have it. In two years it wont matter cause they won't give you a like model. Remember when you buy!! A 42" plasma is a 42" plasma don't spend the extra money on the extra features. . .unless you don't care if something goes wrong with it just know. . . that your going to get the same when it gets replaced!!!!
