I also was contacted by this company hilton smythe commercial,was sold the same story pay me upfront and we will sell your business for you.i have only just thought about looking online at other reviews and am not surprised to see there are complaints about this company,they even promised to pay my legal costs once sold how ironic as they are now billing me full fees or they will take me to court, but I still haven't sold my business and still own it,they have lied from beginning to end,I can't believe I was this stupid to trust them they are so underhand,I question if they even wanted to sell my business or just sue me,my advice please don't believe a word they say learn from my mistakes.

 around 6 months ago I was contacted by HIlton Smythe Commercial and asked to sell my business as coming to retiring age I decided and agreed to see a company called Hilton Smythe and they said they would sell my business. I've had no contact with them just they asked me to reduce my asking price under a lot  pressure someone called Liam finally made me agree. I've now later found out he is or was part of another company called preferred Commercial,since then I've spoke to another company that have adviced me I'm under valued and feel I'm given the business away, I've contacted Hilton Smythe asking if I can put my price up to the original price .I was rudely told no as they was unable to sell it at the price it's on now let alone if it goes back up to more then twice its on (which was there original value) and if I used this new other company which seem really well mannered an positive I will be sued by then charged my full fees, I can't work it out I've paid hundreds of pounds to go on market and felt forced to reduce my price .now I want you use a proper company they are threatening to sue me and not let me up my asking price to original asking price or leave them unless I pay there full selling fees. all I want to do is sell my business. I feel powerless and have no control From a set of bully's who dont care if my business is sold but are very keen to charge me my fees. i just wish I had never come across them. So far I've looked into them and they seem to be a splitter company called preferred commercial where half of them have set this company up and are ripping customers up the same way but with less resources.i would love to leave my contacted details here so of anyone doughts me ill tell them first hand but it's asked not to leave my details but please try to keep away from there cowboys
