I ordered contacts from this website. This website is a fraud. They are buying boxes of contacts and re-selling them as their own. The company that makes these are CoopverVision. I received the contacts in the mail and opened them up and on the package it said that they are not supose to be sold individually. WHy am i getting individually sold contacts? I open them up. They are ripped.
I emailed this company many times because on my receipt it said to email them with any problems so i did. No response for weeks. I look on their website and it says not to email. Why? That is weird.
So i caleld them. :" Hi, ive been trying to email you, i opened up my contacts and they were ripped" the man said " We cant do anything" I said " Yeah but i JUST opened them and they were ripped " The man started screaming " UGHHHHH, i dont care if they were opened a day ago a week ago or six years ago we cant do..!!!!!" and i hung up.
I have never been spoken to like that in my life. I would like my money back. But apparently i cant get it.Even though on my receipt it says to contact them if anything is wrrong? Very sketchy.

Excuse me, but you absolutely CAN view the lenses before opening them. One side of the packaging is silver; the other is transparent plastic. You probably ripped the lens yourself if you have long fingernails (or any length of nail, period). Long fingernails and contact lenses do not work well together, especially if you do not know how to properly handle the lens. Also, there is no law against them distributing Coopervision products if they are a dealership for Coopervision. ALL contact lenses say 'not for individual sale' on the packaging. It's industry standard.
I have dealt a great deal with this company and they send the items very quickly. The lenses are qulaity and last forever if properly handled. They are actually the only company that sells plano (non-prescription lenses) that is reputable and in the U.S. Try some of the overseas companies; they really leave alot to be desired. Also, pay with PayPal as they will back you up on a legitimate claim such as non-receipt of item, etc. You cannot prove the lens was ripped so you are out of luck. I have never received a ripped lens from Hollywood and I have ordered dozens of pairs and handle them very carefully and have clipped nails.
If you are repeatedly having trouble with the lens not fitting properly on the same eye, it's your eye and not the lens. These are not custom lenses wherein a doctor has fitted them to the curvature of your cornea, etc. They are generic. So whatever eye is giving you the problem may have an anomaly that is causing the lens to feel uncomfortable. I have never had any lens from this company give me the slightest trouble.
I actually double the lens in each eye; in other words, I wear two sets of the lens in each eye to intensify color and opacity. They are very affordable when you compare them to the $200 and up other companies want for their lenses to achieve this same effect. Even doubling up in each eye is comfortable for up to eight hours or longer as long as you use refreshing drops for soft lenses.
