Home Point Financial purchased the original Mortgage Company, Maverick Funding, who initially handled our first time home buyers mortgage. When we tried to refinance, we were made aware of the numerous violations that were committed: switching figures from the GFE to the HUD, over charging on filing fees and keeping the monies(the closing attorney did this), place an insurance policy on the mortgage but told us that we needed to purchase one, which we did, and then wound up making double payment for two policies, multiple innacuracies of figures that translated from all of the documents, TILA,GFE and HUD, blaitant and reckless overcharging and excessive multiples of fees, such as overnight fees, credit report fees, etc, having a clear disregard of the limits of variance in numbers that can change from the GFR to the HUD, those that absolutely cannot change from the GFE to the HUD, and overall just should be held accountable for stealing from us and writing an unlawful loan. They should be held responsible for the legal ramifications that are imposed for each violation.

I filed a multiple complaints with NJDOBI, CFPB, Attorney General, Govenor and Senator and got nothing. No help nothing. They all deferred me back to DOBI and CFPB, which in their own right are just shams of fraudulent so called consumer advocacy groups. The only thing the investigator from NJDOBI did, was to call the closing attorney that clearly did nothing but steal from us also(overcharging on those filing fees and keeping them....) was to call that attorney, advise he was being complained upon and that he should return our monies. Funny how two days later, he called us and then sent back the overage, but was still short on what he owed us!!!  The investigator DID NOT do anything and certainly was not interested in doing and investigation work to help us, the consumer and resident of the state which pays taxes to support his salary for doing nothing.

We filed a QWR, which went completely unanswered.....that in it self is a violation that the mortgage compaly can be help liable for.

Anyone reading this who has information on counsel that can help us, would we be greatly appreciated! (We even had sheister attorneys tell us they would be able to help and then took our money and did nothing.....) such a shame that an average American can get treated this way and how far gone our system is.  It's pathetic. But I know that someone will read this and someone will take a moment to help. And to that person or persons. I say Thank You.

I just wanted to let you know that my family and I have experienced so much, lost our house and it was all due to erroneous charges by CENLAR and their employees.  I have literally found that most of the pages in our loan are filled with FRAUD and CENLAR had a large hand in it all!

I would love to talk with you because I have also lost a ton of money on incompitent attorneys as well and I HAVE HAD IT!  I have MORE THAN ENOUGH PROOF TO BURY EVERYONE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN MY LOAN, realtor included!  My situation is also quite complex now although it didn't have to be, period.

I am going to get a hold of an attorney that deals with all types of mortgage fraud and I asked him if we could start a class action suit against these crooks and he is on board.  I know that there is another website that I have reported our situation on and there are SO MANY PEOPLE that want to do this but on the other site, I am not able to contact anyone that has lost their home, as we did due to the dumb, uneducated people that they employ.  

I have researched everything in my paperwork for about 4 years now and I literally did all of the research myself because I knew the issues better than anyone and due to the amount of fraud, I couldn't find an attorney in my state to take the case and NOT MY MONEY, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ERROR WAS TOTALLY THEIR FAULT!  If I messed up on my own and I lost my house, it would suck but at least I know that I am the one that caused it - THE ABSOLUTE PART THAT FRUSTRATES ME THE MOST IS THAT THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH UNETHICAL PRACTICES, MAKING THEIR WALLETS FAT WHILE I HAD LOSE MY "GREAT AMERICAN DREAM".  WHAT A FLIPPIN JOKE!

Feel free to get back with me and we can get this going because I think they need to to be held responsible for their actions.  My son is 12 and he is a nervous wreck now because we were homeless and he lost everything he had collected since he was a toddler.  I know that this case will take off, it just took me 4 years to find an attorney that wanted to help instead of just stealing money from people that have enough to worry about.
