Homecomings Financial A GMAC Company Horrible, Rude, Decietful people Minneapolis Minnesota

I own a home in ohio. When I purchased the home it was thru an entirely different lender. A few months after that my account was sold off (as i am sure many were) to homecomings. After living in my home for a few years i got a chance to purchase a new home so I did. Right as I did the bust happened. My old home was not selling and I was worried about keeping up with two payments. I spoke with a friend who was an attorney and he told me to ask about a deed in lieu.

So in october I called to get information about a deed in lieu and all I recieved was a faxed piece of paper wanting my assets vs. liabilities and have that returned. I THREW THE PAPER AWAY! (that is imporant) After i tossed the useless paper away I figured that was that and went on my way (still making payments on time every month) so what a surprise it was in December when I get papers from a lawyer to sign to finish a deed in lieu. This company had the nerve to just file the paperwork to obtain my home and not one payment was ever missed or late.

Then when I refused to sign the papers they had the nerve to try to charge me attorney fees! After trying to talk with them and be told "they would be more then happy to foreclose on my home" I called the executive offices of GMAC (their parent company) and as of now I am told that all fees are to be removed from my account (which I am still waiting on to happen)
SO I URGE EVERYONE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY GMAC COMPANY.
