Hotwire.com intentionally rates its own hotels for example they rated a Knights Inn Motel as a 3 star hotel so its rated 1

when you bid on a hotel on hotwire it says 3 star hotels are Holiday inns and Double Tree Hotels etc. This is an illusion to make you think your gonna get a great hotel for a cheap price. You also think that Hotwire is getting you a deal because the hotel is guarateed money. Hotels lose millions of dollars a year of guests canceling rooms and cant get a penny. So you would think some of the good hotels would rather rent out the room for cheaper if its guaranteed money.

So you think that a holiday inn will say okay normally our rooms for the weekdays are 79.99 but alot of customers cancel and they lose business so you would think holiday inn would tell hotwire we will give you (20) rooms and allow you to rent them for 45.00 dollars a night. This is what we the customer would think but what hotwire does is it goes to the hotels that cant be rented that are hotels that are not below the 2 star mark and lie and say its a upkept hotel and the give that hotel a 3 star. They do this so they can make even more money off you as possible think about it with a holiday inn for 45 dollars they are only making 35 dollars with a Knights Inn where they can get the room for 15 dollars and they are making a 50+ plus profit. However they have lost crediability of the people. They might have made millions of being dishonest but the buck will stop. If they would honest with you they would tell you the name of the hotel in the first place. Its all about deception trying to get a good hotel for a cheap price.

So your putting money into Hotwires pockets and getting the worst possible hotel room. Hotwire rates there own hotels they dont use the rating of which the hotels are rated. Like I said a Knights Inn motel is ranked a 1 but in the eyes of Hotwire they rank that hotel a 3 star hotel. Its there rules, its all about deception and being dishonest. This is what Hotwire is all about. If you want a discount on a hotel use your AAA card and each state has a booklet of 20 percent discounts and coupons for hotels. Atleast if you book with a hotel and you need to cancel your not screwed. This happened to me but I fought with the company and the women wasnt suppose be refunded my money. I was one of the lucky ones.
