Before I paid for my diploma with Lincoln Academy I called in and double-verified that I would be able to receive all of the benefits of college with Butler Community College. But I have 2 colleges (one in Kansas and one in Texas) that will not accept my diploma for admissions or financial aid.

At Butler Community College, Dr. Jessica Ohman, Dean of Enrollment and Susie Edwards, Director of Financial Aid both denied my diploma from Lincoln Academy. Jim Wyant from the US Department of Education also backed their decision of refusal for my diploma. I emailed a copy of both of their letters from Butler and the email from the US Dept of
Education to the main email attention to Ruth and I emailed a copy to Sarah Samuels. I have also called multiple times for someone at Lincoln Academy to contact US Department of Education official to discuss the "home-school" issue. No one has called Jim Wyant or me back.

I thought maybe my denial was because Butler is a KS school so I called Paris Junior College in Paris, TX because I lived in Ladonia, TX and that wasn't far from there. Amy in admissions at PJC said they wouldn't accept a Lincoln Academy diploma either.

So I am formally requesting a refund for my diploma because it isn't getting me anywhere with my post-secondary education.
