We were contacted by a client, whom told us that they had been advised by Hydro Grow that they are the only company selling original LED Grow Lights and that our company Quantum LED sells fake products.

On further research we have found that Hydro Grow has been selling counterfeit versions of our products in both the USA and the UK.

Our factory, Filled on 17th August 2010 and was approved and granted Patent Number: ZL 2011 3 0279688.9 on April 18, 2012. Therefore we own and can provide the patents for these led grow lights, being sold by Hydro Grow as Penetrator PRO.

It is illegal for any company to manufacture counterfeit copies of our patented product, advertise them and sell in the global market.

Unfortunately this is exactly what these companies have been doing thus resulting in us suffering significant damages as a result of the unauthorized production and sales of our protected design, technology and product.

With the proceeds of their counterfeit goods these two companies are now top of all Google searches and able to use this positioning to flood the market with more fake counterfeit goods.

To add insult to injury, they now claim that we are the ones selling counterfeits and have started a smear campaign against http://www.ledhydroponics.co.uk and  http://www.quantumledbloom.co.uk claiming we sell the counterfeits.

They have gone as far as setting up a scam site  www.quantumledbloom.com  where fake people claim to be ripped off by Quantum LED

Quantum LED has not had 1 single complaint through UK trading standards and as we offer a 90 day money back guarantee, it is obvious that if we had any genuine complains, those people would have been refunded.

Until Cammie started her campaign against us we had never received any negative reviews on the internet, however since July 2012, when she started her campaign all of a sudden we are getting negative reviews from countries we don't even ship to. Basically people whom have not purchased from us are making stuff up.

Cammie Makenzie, AKA Scott Cameron, has had a long history of fraud, threatening competitors, bullying customers and ripping off various customers and organisations.

A few samples of other reports on her activities can be found on the following links or you can google her.

We hope that anyone that comes across Hydro Grow and their scare tactics will do some proper research.

We are seeking legal advise to shut down her operation once and for all.

False claims against Quantum LED - Here is proof

AUTHOR: LED Hydroponics - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, October 25, 2012

All of the below can be supported with documentation.

The Director of Quantum LED VAT NO 141437436  COMPANY NO 6534054 started trading in March 2008, however had been testing LED products from China since 2007.

Since then he has been to China around 12 times to conduct product research, verify quality control and the quality of components being used in the 3 three main factories that we conduct business with.

Hydrogrow sells LED GROW LIGHTS named Penetrator pro which are manufactured in China from one of the above factories that we regularly deal with.

We started buying the same penetrator pro as Cammie from the same factory, with our own specification on heat sink coil design.

When we first We initially named our product quantum Penetrator pro. Mackenzie was not happy and claimed to have a patent on the product, Mackenzie complained to Google, and a host of other sites which initially closed down all our adverts. She also went on a major campaign to dis-credit our company claiming we sell counterfeits.

Upon research we discovered that Mackenzie only has patent pending in USA whilst the factory in china owns the actual patent. When the factory refused her sole distributorship she started buying from a different factory.

To avoid confusion in the market and to clearly differentiate between our products, we rebranded and changed the name from quantum pen pro to quantum photon pro.

Therefore our Photon Pro is purchased from the original factory whilst Mackenzie purchases Penetrator Pro from a factory that is infringing upon our factories patent.

Once proving to Google that we own the patent and are not counterfeiting they re-instated all our ads. With the exception of Ali Baba, which we have not yet dealt with as it is so low volume.

We have proof of these patents which we have power of attorney and the original factory is taking legal action against other factories making counterfeits. Work it out.

Prior to July 2012 when she started her campaign, you will not find one negative comment about Quantum LED anywhere. All of a sudden after our first dispute with Cammie, we started seeing false claims about our product and claims about people reporting us to UK trading standards.

We have not had 1 single official complaint and we 100% stick to our 90 days money back guarantee and 5 year warranty. Basically any legitimate buyer of our product has enough time to fully test the product and return it if they are not happy.

I have ordered a copy of the patent to be translated from Chinese and will post it online shortly. This proves once and for all that Quantum LED does not sell and has never sold counterfeits or had problems with any of our high quality LED grow light products.

Google cammie macenzie, she has been doing these dirty tactics since 2009. There is so much information about her on the web from scams being perpertrated and ongoing for over 4 years.

Google Quantum LED and Director Ramananthan Mathiaparanam, and see if there is any scams or complaints prior to July 2012, then check and see that his company been trading since 2008. Then it all becomes clear that Quantum LED has fallen victim to one of Cammies scams.

Quantum LED Fraud

AUTHOR: Hydro Grow LED - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, October 20, 2012

This posting is nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black.  Quantum LED was exposed this year for selling counterfeit Hydro Grow LED Grow Lights on their website, using stolen product descriptions, trademarks and images from the Hydro Grow website.  A full history of their transgressions can be seen via this link:  http://www.quantumledbloom.com/

You'll notice that posting one of this link shows postings from Quantum LED removed from Alibaba for trademark infringement, using the term "Penetrator" in their listings where they sold counterfeit Penetrator grow lights.

Despite Quantum LED being removed from not just Alibaba, but other websites, and despite Quantum LED owning ZERO patents or trademarks related to Hydro Grow merchandise, the individual has fooled himself into believing that somehow Hydro Grow didn't invent the very product we patented (patent #'s 13/189,009, and 13/347,971).  Since Quantum LED has been exposed as being a fraud, the only thing he could think to do is to try and point the blame back to the company he has been defrauding.  The patent Quantum LED claims to have is actually a false Chinese patent that is presently being overturned in Chinese courts for being an invalid patent.  It in no way belongs to Quantum LED, nor would Quantum LED be able to present a single piece of intellectual property in their name, belonging to any of Hydro Grow's designs.

The UK Trading Standards Institute has received many complaints against Quantum LED, despite his claims, they simply refused to lodge the complaints due to international boundaries on trademark law, etc...  Numerous customers have also complained to our company about being taken advantage of by Quantum LED, and being told they were receiving a genuine Hydro Grow product when this was furthest from the truth.

Ultimately all this seller can rely on at this point is to try and tarnish the name of the company who exposed him.  It's both petty and ridiculous, and as you can see he fails to say a single negative thing about our products, customer service, etc...  This thread isn't an attack on our company or products, it's some BS posting made by an angry fraud who's business was compromised from his illegal and unethical actions.
