Ian McRoberts Web Designer Internet

I engaged Ian McRoberts (ianmcroberts@gmail.com) to develop a website for me. He delivered the pilot for the website two weeks late, and even when I received the demo it was nothing like the work order as agreed upon. The site was hideous and had none -- NONE -- of the features described. I later discovered that McRoberts had taken an old Dreamweaver template and changed some of the text, so the site design was not even the custom work I had contracted.

Since McRoberts had already wasted enough of my time and he had breached every term of our contract, I told him he was fired and wouldn't be paid. He sent me several vulgar and insulting e-mails demanding payment, basically continuing to behave in a completely unprofessional fashion. I ignored him.

A couple of weeks later, I received an envelope addressed to Mrs. Schmidt in the mail. There is no Mrs. Schmidt, and the envelope came from the same town McRoberts wanted to be paid in, so I was instantly suspicious. It was full of glossy color photographs of bestiality p*rnography, with a letter attached reading "See what your husband is doing." I can't do much about that, because I can't prove it came from him without the police opening an investigation and checking for fingerprints, which they declined to do.

So, if a fellow named Ian McRoberts using ianmcroberts@gmail.com bids on your web design job, think twice before using him.
