I just got my Verizon bill for July and there are 4 calls to Diego Garc for 20 minutes $37.54, 13 minutes $25.95, and 2 two minute calls for $7.74 each. These totaled $81.34. Get this the dates on the calls are all from the month of May! They should've been on last month's bill if they were genuine.

My bill shows Billing for ILD Teleservices on behalf of IOS? No clue, can find nothing on IOS. I called the number for billing questions on my bill. The lady told me that the calls are pay websites like Sports, gambling, information services ect. The number shown above the name Diego Garc is only 9 digets not 10 like a phone number (I'm guessing that it is an IP address = 246120100).

The lady on the phone said that they use some AVS system that shows my phoneline is the one that was used to visit the sites. I asked for information on exactly what sites that they were because I never went to a pay site and never authorized anything. She said that was confidential information about their customers so she couldn't give me that information.

This sounds like the biggest scam of all time. A ripoff by a third party who doesn't let their identity be know by using another party to do their billing. As a 'customer' do I not have the right to know what I am being billed for? This somehow looks like phising or spoof email. By the way the FCC number is 1-888-CALL FCC (1-888-225-5322). I'll be back when I find out more.

Before I found Rip-off Report I too had called the 800 number on my bill and was told Diego Garc refered to pay-perview websites such as sports, gambling ect. Rosemary was the CS who told me and when I ask about disputing it, she told me I couldn't. When I ask to speak to her Supervisor she told me she was the supervisor. I hung up disenchanted but then I found this site for 'Diego Garc'. After going through all of the Rip-off reports, I figured out what to do and did it.

First I went to the ILD website and sent them an email about all of this. I received an email back telling me that the charges were from Tellis (even though my bill said billing on behalf of IOS). I call for 3 days! I either got a busy signal or no one would answer. On day 4 I finally got through after I let it ring for 45 minutes! It sounded like an older woman answered and I told her I wanted to dispute a charge on my phone bill. She said nicely, "Ok, honey, what's the name..." I said, Diego Garc then heard an audible 'click'. She had hung up on me!

I called the 800 number for ILD Teleservice again (this time I armed myself with a taperecorder and taped the call, recommended on the website with the FCC). I got another woman who told me she would credit back the charges this 'one' time but that it would be 2 to 3 billing cycles before the charge would be off (she obviously thought I paid the bill when I did not). She asked for my name (which I gave) and then my address. I stated that after being shammed by these other crooks through them that I was not comfortable giving out that infromation. She said that was OK, giving an address was optional (even though she never stated that when she asked). DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS! They could possibly use that information later to try and bill you direct!

I then called Verizon (recorded that too!) and explained everything to the Rep and said I had been Phone Crammed by Telliss through ILD Teleservices. I told him that the person from ILD had said that the charges would come off in 2-3 billing cycles as though I had already paid. He said 'NO, don't pay.' Like he knew it would be impossible to get the money back.

On the same bill I was also crammed by infoservices900.com through Integretel. I read a website by a guy that works for them he stated that 1)they are such cowards that they outsource their customer service, so they don't answer the phone. And 2) Whatever you do, do not except the 'take 50% off your bill' bull. Keep demanding that they refund the whole amount until they do. He said that they want them to try to get 50% because they are loosing too much money! He was so mad that he said he can always find another job and for everyone to file a complaint with the FCC even if the charges are reduced or reversed.

I hate for this to get so long but I realize now what caused all of this to happen. Back on May 3rd my computer was hijacked by AZE Search (through Top20Results.com) must've been an affiliate trying to make some money. It took me over 6 weeks to finally clear up the entire problem. It was during this time that all these charges occured, I'm sure it was a rogue ghost dialer that caused it. Whoever it was thought that I wouldn't notice because the billing dates were in May for Diego Garc (ILD Teleservices / Telliss) and June and July for the Integretal (infoservices900.com) dialer. They all ended up being on the same bill so it was very obvious! You must get a 900 block on your phone immediately the Trojan dialer from infoservices/Integretel reinstalls itself monthly through your connection with your phone number! I am now working to find out who is behind all this for real! THX for all the ripoff reports that helped me!
