I should have known better but Im a pretty fair and easy going person so I gave Mike at In-Home Appliance service a second chance to make it right after he scammed me the first time. He has more excuses than my 6 year old. He gave me the run around for over 45 days the first time he came out to repair my refrigerator and it needed one last cheap part so I paid him and he swore he would be right back, but did he ever come back NO. The refrigerator broke again and him and his partner started blaming the refrigerator parts and It was there problem since they never would repair the last little part so the refrigerator would never cycle off.
This guy Mike wont take any responsibility for anything and keeps telling me he had some shoulder injury and has been out of commision. What ever. He could atleast call or answer the phone but he just ditches my calls. This guy comes off as real nice but he has some issues and cannot be trusted. Do not let them in your home nothing but bad news as far as Ive seen. This time hes left me hanging again saying that the parts havent come in and blah blah blah its been over 45 days again and Im done with his lies and Bs. do not use these guys for anything. Even after he saw the 1st bad report on Rip off Report he wont perform and do the right thing. He just doesnt care.

Same Thing, he tried to scam money

My 61 year old mother went to Living Social ( Great Company By The Way) and got a dryer vent clean out offer. It did say mileage restriction but did not list the restrictions of mileage that would of influenced my mothers purchase, if prices were labeled. My mother calls and sets up an appointment for Tuesday 9/10 and gives him her number and location and nothing was mentioned to her being out of range. Tuesday, Mike calls and says he hit ladder on the U.S 60 freeway and damaged his tires and cannot make it out to her and he will reschedule for Wednesday 9/11. Mike comes out to clean the dryer vent and when he is done he tells my mother " You owe me $54 for the extra mileage outside 25 miles." Mike kept stating a 25 mile service area and that is $4.00 a mile after 25 miles and it was posted on Living Social. We checked and it just says mileage restrictions. I talked to Mike and said at time of purchase it did not define mileage restrictions, if it properly did we would of went with a different company. My mom had 5 phone conversations with Mike and he never informed her that she was out of range and since you did not define mileage, how do I know you are charging us fairly or correctly. Mike went off to say how his wife is a lawyer and he knows the law. I stopped him and said, if you do not disclose restrictions that influence the purchase you are false advertising and violates truth in advertising. My mother was on the phone talking with Living Social, the rep Amy said he did not list mileage nor defined the charge and said this fee should not be valid since it was not posted at time of purchase. Mike got upset and stormed out, he said he is done here and good bye.
