Inphonic ripoff Phoenix Arizona

As other people than filed complain to InPhonic . I bought a cell phone and signed a 2 year contract with T-Mobile on 7/28/05 . I submitted everything as required but till today, which is a year after, all I've got is an email on 19 Jun 2006 : "Our records indicate your rebate has been approved and is currently being processed. A check will be issued and mailed to you upon completion of processing .We cannot predict when this will be mailed, however, an email will be dispatched once your check has been placed in the post."

My friend has the same situation with me and still waiting. But his case is more outrageous. He bought another phone and signed contract with Cingular. He terminated his contract early. Later he received email from Inphonic to collect $250 of Equipment Discount Penalty (EDP) fee which they said they would charge into his credit card . He then contacted Inphonic 1-866-635-7400 number, the representative did look into his rebate account but did not tell when he could get the rebate money, yet still want my friend to pay Inphonic "on time".

This practice is very barbarous ! It reminds me of communist countries where there are no justice, and laws belong to powerfull "parties"
