instantcheckmate, online background checks and criminal history... slected one time unlimited search for a month and was billed for 8 more months before i realized what was happening Internet

I wanted a background check on someone and selected the one time monthly unlimited full report from Instant checkmate.com.  What I received was an incomplete out of date report. To make matters worse I was continually billed the 22.98 for 8 more months on top of the ten dollar fee for the report and a processing fee.

The site says in fine print* that your account will automatically renew for the term you select. You then agree to this but its a trick. The terms were 3 month & 6 month, or for a ONE TIME REPORT you could pay for a one month unlimited use.

If you select the one time report you dont know that you have selected a "TERM" as those appear to be 3 and 6 month renewal options. Choosing a one time, one month unlimited report is the most expensive way to pay as there are no discounts.

You are then billed the higher amount month after month until you realize your bank account is being charged. BEWARE!!!
