ION Marketing Shorted my pay and weekly rate agreement yet paid others their weekly rate agreement New York, New York

I signed a contract with ION Marketing stating my weekly rate was $880 and described what work was required from me. I performed ALL the duties successfully and went above and beyond what ION Marketing asked of me. A few weeks later, the fragrance brand was sold to Elizabeth Arden. I was told in an email that my weekly rate was going to be paid out 3 days later. Nearly two weeks went by and I reached out to them to ask about my check. It was then that I was told of the brand was sold and I would be receiving an email regarding pay. The email came to me a few hours later and the company was only going to pay me 9% of the weekly rate. I called and email them stating that my lawyer would be looking into this. The next email up it to 23%. I was still unsatisfied and took this to the Texas Workforce Commission for them to pursue on my behalf. I also learned that two other woman were paid their FULL weekly rates. I am not sure why they (ION Marketing) decided to short my pay. It may be because I was new with the company and they feel they could screw me over. The Texas Labor Board has cited them and is filing this complaint. It will be on their record should anyone else file a complaint against them in the state of Texas. I am here to empower and warn others about this company because they stole money from me that was rightfully owed!
