I also worked for SiSTeR Technologies during the period Mark Pocock worked there, I remember him, and I remember the utter disrespect and condescension he was constantly made to endure on a daily basis by Israel Alpert.  I do not believe that his retraction is honest, and it is quite obvious to me that it was coerced.  It reads like the forced confession of a North Korean traitor sentenced to die, honestlly.  Yes, Israel Alpert is capable of this level of evil, making forced confessions.  Absolutely.  It very much goes with the grain of his character I noted while working with him.  My heart goes out to Mark Pocock for how Israel must have emotionally tortured him for posting his original honest review.

I also experienced seeing and hearing Israel Alpert continually berate, yell at, demean, threaten to fire, make racist remarks against, and sexually harass his employees.  Not just one or two "bad" employees either.  Israel Alpert gets off on belittling others as part of demonstrating his dominance.  So every employee in the office would at one time or another receive his onslaught.  He would constantly be on the lookout for excuses to yell.  He really, really enjoyes yelling.

This is an exceptionally hostlie work environment where women are consistently made to feel unsafe, not only by his own constant sexualized commentary and leering smile and eyes, but also ...

... you know how Google shows ads that are relevant to you?  After all, thats how they make their money, showing relevant ads right?  Well, Israel Alpert has no decency and uses his work laptop for personal searching.  In many business meetings, he would pull up Google to search for something, or be looking at some other page that has Google Ads embedded, and ALWAYS the ads would be for MAIL ORDER BRIDES and PORN.  For this to come up in a work environment would be immediate firing in any ETHICAL company -- no emlpoyees should have to be subjected to Israel Alpert's sexual fetishes.  But of course he is the owner and president of his company and he makes sure you know he will do as he pleases.  He would frequently touch me on the shoulder as if he had a right.  One time he told me he "likes to play the daddy."  As a woman I cannot begin to express how creepy that is coming from an older male employer.  Honestly it felt like mental rape.

I also corroborate the report of Mark Pocock that Israel Alpert would misunderstand things he would read in books and then force them on his employees.  The "Yes, No, Picture, Number" routine is famous among all his ex-employees.  According to him those are the only four classes of things that are true.. all other information is false!  Unless it can be expressed as a Yes/No, a Picture, or a Number!

Based on Israel Alperts complete lack of regard for other people, his grand sense of entitlement, his narcissism, his vacuously charming exterior he puts on to clients and in social settings, his incredibly manipulative style, his lack of basic decency, his viscious and instant anger, his absolute emotional insistence on being on top and in control at all times and in all situations -- I do believe he qualifies as a PSYCHOPATH and is the single most unpleasant person I have ever encountered in any situation.  One time, after being told he couldn't smoke in the elevator, he put out the cigarette in the palm of his hand!

I urge all customers of SiSTeR Technologies to do business with someone else.  There are other video providers.  This person is incredibly unethical on every level and their business practices are frankly illegal (having observed them firsthand).  You don't want your business tainted by this.

I urge all vendors of SiSTeR Technologies to stop doing business with this shady person who undermines the mental wellbeing of everyone who encounters him.

And I especially urge anyone considering working for Israel Alpert in any capacity to RUN AWAY.  There is NO amount of money that is worth your mental health, which absolutely will be at a loss if you decide to work for him.  I honestly fear for you if you do decide to work for Israel Alpert.  Not to mention that like Mark Pocock and myself and many others, your job with him is only for a very short time anyways as Israel quickly finds fault with everyone.  So even if you think you need the money right now in this tight economy: I promise you it is nothing but a setback to work for Israel Alpert.  Do not hitch your horse to this post.

And for any other previous employees of this truly wretched and horrid person, I am so glad for you that you escaped.  I hope that the time you have had away from him has given you some measure of healing.  It has for me, in a small way but not obviously not entirely as I'm still pretty worked up.  Seeing Mark Pocock's completely NON-BELIEVABLE retraction was the last straw for me.  I know for sure in my gut that israel forced that out of him, which is just the latest in a string of wrongful acts that are constantly emanating from this vile creature.

And to Israel Alpert, who I know I am actually directly replying to here, as the person who coerced and then posted Mark's FAKED retraction: for the benefit of your current employees, please close your business.

Anyone who's ever worked at sistertv knows for full fact that the original assertations about Israel are quite accurate.  That man is unhinged, to put it nicely.  To see someone go from screaming and crying like a petulant child who had his crayon stolen, and back to yelling abusive nonsense to anyone around him, all in a 10 minute time span, is an amazing view.  Have you seen how Trump has a meltdown every time SNL makes fun of him?  Israel's emotional rollercoaster is  on that level, raised exponentially.

I can only believe that the retraction made by the original poster must have been made under diress, legal or physical.   Knowing Israel is to know he's a shady twit who would do anything to not sully his own name, and undermine anyone around him, so any efforts to make someone change their public words would not be surprising.

How he's not yet been arrested, punched, or killed himself, is beyond fathom.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS MAN. 

He is scheming, duplicitious, and will do whatever it takes to win for himself, no matter what people he crushes along the way.  In Israel's eyes, there is nobody human except himself.  It's a shame he carries the name of a wonderful country and disparages it so carelessly.   

To call him a piece of excrement is to insult pieces of excrement.

And to those companies that continue to do business with him, you should reconsider aligning yourself with someone who has such contemptible morals.  If you can know how horribly he treats those who work for him, how he abuses them emotionally with no regard, and you can continue to hand your money over to him, you are now equally guilty and should be ashamed.

I'm amazed at how difficult it is to put in to words how crazy this man is, how utterly horrible he is as a person, having witnessed firsthand his evil.   He should backpay all employees a severance package that includes therapy for PTSD.  I couldn't get away from that place quickly enough.

TLDR: ISRAEL ALPERT IS A HORRIBLE PERSON WHO ABUSES THOSE AROUND HIM, WITH NO REGARD.  DO NOT WORK WITH HIM.  DO NOT WORK FOR HIM.

I was a former employee of Sister Technologies. The posting in regards to Israel Alpert was done out of frustration and in the heat of the moment upon my employment separation.  I regret making the posting.  Since Rip Off report does not allow me to delete my original posting I wanted to make everyone aware that I have no ill feelings towards Israel Alpert or Sister Technologies.

Israel Alpert is a fine gentleman and has a teacher's heart. My personal opinion that I wrote out of frustration back in May of 2011 is not an accurate reflection of Israel Alpert's character nor Sister Technologies. God is good, and full of mercy and grace.
