J & S Services owner Jeff Wages Mr Wages was contracted to remodel a bathroom. He did not complete the job satisfactorily. poor workmanship, slow in following up with work code violations Coldwater Mississippi

Mr Jeff Wages answered an ad on Thumbtack web site to remoldel a bathroom.  He quoted me a price which seemed reasonable . and I agreed to use him

However after reading a couple of bad reviews on ripoff, I told him I could not use his services.  He kept calling me insisting that the reports were not true, and the complaints had no validity

.  I finally agreed to use him.  He told me he wanted to show me that he was a good contraccter and that the results of this job would help him get a good report.

  Unfortunately I found out the hard way that Mr. Wages is not to be trusted.  half way thru the job, he requested 3/4 of the payment even tho my contract stated full payment upon satisfactory completion of the job.  After I paid him, he was  slow in completing the job.

  It is now July and he has not returned to complete the job, the work is shoddy, there are some code violations with the plumbing and worst of all the shower drain is completly cloggeed with dried grout from the tile work.  I am now faced with tearing out the shower floor to unclog the drain and having to find another contractor to complete the job.  I cannot use the bathroom untill I can find someone to complete the work.

  I have also learned that he was a former employee of J&S construction and was dismissed for this same poor work ethic.

  I will warn anyone, do not use Jeff wages. of J&S Services and to believe the reports on ripoff.  He is not to be trusted.  I am investigating now to see if he is even a licensed contractor.
