A person said to be from U.S. Government Grant Association called me at 10:30 pm on a saturday night claiming that I recieved a $3500 "refund". I didn't have to pay it back or anything. I asked him if it was normal to call at such late hours. He said it as only 9:30 where he was, ok. He then verified my address,state,age ect. and asked for my checking account number, I said no and hung up on him. And then "Jason Cooper", of Long Beach, India called me back asking why I hung up on him. I told him I don' share that info.
We went back and forth, catching him in several lies. Such as he stated that I would have a verification on my doorstep "tomorrow". Well,tomorrow happened to be a sunday,no mail. He also said that he could not access my account with out a check number, bull. He said he would put me on the line with my bank to verify the ok. Um, it's 10:30, Aren't the banks closed?. I told him I wasn't interested in the money. He then told me to go to He!! and f*** off!. I said, "you supposedly work for the govt. and you talk to customers like that? good bye jason cooper, or who ever you are".
Just remember, IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS
