Jason Doucette Aka Jason Rule So called contractor rips off elderly, threatening, abusive, and shoddy no show work. Franklin New Hampshire

Jason Rule, Jason Ducette, Jason Ducette-Rule, This man approached my mother in law to fix her bathroom, in which the floor was rotted and about to fall through the basement, The bathroom was a disaster and needed alot of work. This man offered to fix it for $700 assuring her he could fix everything..

Now my MIL was wrong for not researching him first but her and Father in law are both in their 80's. He used her Credit Card at home depot to buy the products he needed as well as other products for other jobs he was doing, He had to be picked up and dropped off at the job site becuase he was having truck problems, so My Mil and Brother in law had to be the ones to pick up the materials. Several weeks went by after he ripped out the tub and toilet, where he said he would show up and wouldnt call or show, 6 weeks these people went without a shower or a toilet. 6 weeks!!!

He would casually show up like once every other week work for 2 hours and leave. He had my brother in law rip out all the old counter tops, sheet rock and strip the room. Then after 6 weeks he came back and put up new dry wall, all the while leaving 2 inch gaps between sheets and not cutting them to fit flush against the floor or ceiling. Now this is all Mr. Rule did was lay the press board on the floor, told my mother in law that would allow the wood underneath "to dry and reharden" anyone that knows anything knows that rotting wood does not dry and reharden. But he laid the pressboard down and then the drywall and never returned.

Several more weeks went by of trying to contact Mr. Rule and he wouldnt answer his phone. So another contractor was hired to finish the job which only took 3 days to strip what he did and redo everything,. The bathroom is beautiful however it cost her $3600. Mr. Rule then started the harassing phone calls to my husband and myself and my mother in law, every day and night till 4 am stating she owed him $1100 for the work he did and that if he didnt get paid he better hope that my husband had vacation time up becuase he was going to break every bone in his body if we didnt come up with the money by the next day.

Now mind you she paid for her own materials, so this $1100 was for labor that he didnt do.... He is now claiming he is going to put a lean on her house if she doesnt pay him.. But we took pics of his damage and if anything he should be paying for the damage he did to her bathroom. We had to have the police call him and tell him to leave us alone because he was calling so often and threating harm to myself, my husband and MIL.

We have since had to change our number becuase he keeps calling. Meanwhile he keeps moving from house to house, and changing his number so that no one knows where he is. THis man is a crook and a bully, he prays on older individuals that are charmed by him and then he scams themand I dont want to see him take advantage of anyone else. PLease do not let him fool you.
