Joseph Stamler (who also goes by Joe Stamler) and Alex Golubev post ads on craigslist in New York about "Stockbroker Trainee" openings. I reached an agreement with Joe Stamler that I will be paid $1000 a month working for the company as a cold-caller. Stamler and the other broker never let me sign the papers so I went on working without being able to sign the employment contract for almost a month. Finally after about a month they let me sign the papers and fired me the next day.

Now even though the company fired me they never bothered pay me for the three weeks I was there working from 6am to 4pm daily with 30 minutes for lunch. I had to get up at 4am and get back home late night, not having any personal time for almost a month. That is, they ripped me off for around $766. Anybody who is considering working for this unethical company - BEWARE - they will work you as a slave and never pay you.

ANY POTENTIAL INVESTORS should be aware of this company's brokers as well: at least the above mentioned two brokers: it is my firm belief that they have no clue what they are doing as brokers. All their training is in cheap salesmanship, from what I saw they spend all their waking hours trying to get new clients, they don't seem to spend a minute researching the companies they are investing in, getting their investment ideas from watching TV, whatever company sounds like it will sell better at the moment.

You would be better off investing with some online broker on your own, at least you will take care of your money and can get it back without hassle. I have witnessed one of these brokers wrestling with a customer on the phone who just wanted to get his money back after the broker lost him money. The investor told him he wanted to talk to his supervisor and instead the broker kept telling him he is the supervisor.

All in all, the company is not an ethical one. Their policy is repulsively anti-investor and is only designed to profiteer whatever it takes. Watch out for this one.

I am currently working with my attorney, the Department of Labor, and NASD on possible legal action against this brokerage.

If the company wishes to repair this situation - I am willing to put in a comment on my satisfaction in this report. There are some other violations by this company that I am planning to let the public know about in the near future in a separate report.

I did not want to file this report, waiting for almost two months listening to their empty promises for my paycheck, but it's leaving me no choice, if there is just one person who I can help avoid the hell of working their like a slave and never get paid, it's well worth it for me. This is outrageous.
