Jiffy Lube ripoff attempting to coerce me into singing off on more service! ripoff auto service business offering automotive harassment threatening service Redlands California

I stopped at Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed.
It is all I wanted, just to change the oil, as it was needed.

After sitting in the waiting room for about ten minutes one of the attendants who was working on the oil change came into the waiting room and said I needed a new oil plug as my existing one was no good.

It looked at it and it was in good condition and I said put it back it looks just fine.

He continued to push saying it was no good and needed replacing.

I have told jokes about changing the muffler bearing but I think these guys would actually try something like this.
I knew something was very wrong here and I was right.
He left but a few minutes later another attendant came in and really started to push for all kinds of service.
At this point I was trapped as my car had no oil and could not be driven.

They took turns at this one would be pressing me for some alleged service need while the others were laughing thinking it was funny.

It was so bad I almost called the police as they were very threatening by physically cornering me and attempting to coerce me into singing off on more service.
Even as I was paying, it was an unnecessarily long wait for this process, they continued to make disparaging remarks, and at this point it was plane harassment.
As I left one of them held the door open to my car saying come back again and slammed the door closed as I approached.

While there was no finical damage (I would not allow it) it was attempted.

I was harassed and push around by what was supposed to be a business offering automotive service.
