I was about 100 miles from home, on a day trip, when my car died on the highway. I was towed to a dealership on a Sunday evening, then started my nightmare Monday morning. I was first told that it was a loose connection on my battery that was causing my problem and that 70 bucks would fix it and put me on my way. Fifteen minutes later I was told that my engine was hydrolocked...after more than ten hours of being told every half hour of another problem they had discovered I was charged over a thousand dollars for all kinds of parts & services. Ten miles down the road my "check engine" light came on.

I felt like these people were aware of me being stuck at their dealership out of town and racked up every little charge they could.
Other customers in the waiting area told similar stories and said they would never come back..were only there because their cars were still under warranty.
