Jimi Davis has evaded the courts for 13 years by using excuses of being unemployed, terminating his rights, and being unable to locate through the post office.

I had to hire an outside investigator to track him down.

Now mind you I was on public services through the Attorney General all this time with an open case. Never had the Attorney General do anything in my favor or my childs.

Once I located him I discovered that this man was now married with two other children for which he WAS supporting and WAS paying child support in the sum of $400.00 a month (also an open case through the ATTORNEY GENERAL) and was working for his father-in-law (a business man with a roofing co around Houston)and making descent wages with a huge home with marble floors and a TV in every room while being able to drive a company vehicle as he chooses.

I had to do all the legal work myself to modify child support since it was never done since 1990 due to the Attorney General not being able to get Jimi Davis to court and to enforce the arrearage. It took me 8 years to locate him. During court, this man had the audacity to tell my son that he did not want to be in his life but it wasn't because he didn't love him. I represented myself in court and WON with arrears of $30,000.00.

My struggles were in vain because now Jimi's wife left him and he is now unemployed and can no longer work for the father-in-law and the Attorney General is still accepting the excuse of the termination papers were mailed to me already. It has been 2 years since the court battle and I have yet to receive child support.

To those who have open cases with the Attorney General, good luck to you because it never helped me. They seem to take the sides of the deadbeat parents with excuses. This is after calling steady for the past 10 years and making complaints to John Coryn's office in San Antonio. If anyone out there has insight on something else I could do to get this DEADBEAT to own up to his responsibilities as a human being please let me know.
