John's Auto Repair Scam Artists !! Burlington, New Jersey

 A few months back, my vehicle had problems with overheating so I took it to the mechanic which my boyfriend and I have known for a few years.  He said it would be about a week, and charged me $400.00.  He replaced a head gasket. Well a couple days later, my jeep started clunking and stalled in the middle of the street.  I took it back to him to look at and he told me it would need a new engine, then the next day he said he could just order a kit instead.  I gave him $350.00 to start and order the parts that he said he needed.  When I talked to him he said the manifold cracked and broke and he replaced the head gasket AGAIN  because he said that broke!    After this he said the relay was bad then an oil pump then a fly wheel and finally he took out and broke a module (which I don't understand how that could have happened.)  Anyway I talked to him often and every time he said he was waiting on a part OR the parts guy brought the wrong part and he needed one more day. He never wanted to help me get a rental car because he said he didn't have any credit and he could'nt help me.  My boyfriend talked to him after I got upset and His son physically pushed him out and told him he does'nt care what happens to us, then slammed the door!  Finally after 6 weeks we finally had police help us tow my jeep out and take it to the dealership!  I had to take it there beause it was in such bad shape that no other mechanic would take it.  This man and his business should be shut down, I can't imagine how many other mothers he scammed out of their money!!
