Judge Kathleen Hamilton 359th District Court Sentening a man to jail for 4 years for being late on child support Conroe, Texas

Judge Kathleen Hamilton of the 359th Disctict Court in Conroe, Tx is sentencing a man for 4 years in prison for late child support.

This man has been fighting this case for the last 3 years with this judge, who forced this man to pay over $1,200 a month in child support, even when he no longer made the money to justify this amount. His business almost went under with the economy crash and they have just barely been surviving.

She refused to review the financial documents that proved his amount needs to be lowered because the ex-wifes high-powered attorney (and a friend of Kathleen) convinced her that the husband has the power to alter numbers of financial documents to appear like he isn't making that much money. (Even though common sense would show you that a man who was evicted and sold most of his belongings just  to survive obviously can not afford $1,200 a month child support.)

Well after 3 years he finally was able to get the amount reduced (during this time he was sent to jail for 3 months) and was able to pay $13,000 at once (thanks to him winning a settlement  that is irrelevant to this topic).

He still owes $8,000 in child support, but he has a job and is paying like clockwork, on time, and slowly catching up. He also owes $5,500 in attorney fees that was awarded by the Judge to the ex-wife.

If he doesn't pay the full amount of $8000 + $5,500 in 7 days, Kathleen Hamilton is going to sentence him in jail for 4 years. FOUR YEARS.

Yes she is going to put my friend away for 4 years because he is behind on child support. He didn't KILL 3 people or or STEAL half a million.. he is just behind and finally catching up on child support.

He has a job, he is paying now, he can catch up.. but if you lock him up he can't pay anything, and he will be 4 more years in debt, lose his job, lose his company, lose his son.

There is no logic behind this judge, other than she "prides herself on putting away dead-beat dads"... but lets a reckless driver kill 3 people and walk away with community service and then lock up a man for only 8 years for stealing half a million.

This judge needs to be removed from the 359th district court in Conroe, Tx. She has no logic.

She is probably friends with the family or the attorney or is being paid off to sentence this man so harshly. Also how stupid are you for expecting a man who can barely keep up with a $1200 a month child support payment to instantly have an extra $13,000 to pay court fees? Are you a moron? Put him on a payment plan.. garnish his pay.. Use your head!

We need to get her thrown out. Please somebody help.
