Kaiser in Fremont CA according to The Office of Civil Rights in San Francisco, CA has not violated any HIPPA laws. Kaiser can register you hours or days before your appointment print out your "Original Receipt" give it to someone else and then give you the "Reprint Receipt". You also have to pay for someone else's copay not your own. They do not have to show you or give you the "Original Receipt". So, if anyone out there had an appointment at Kaiser in Fremont California on this day January 19, 2012 in the Orthopedics Department you were not given your "Original Receipt" you were given a "Reprint" of your receipt. The receptionist chose to register you before you got there, so you get anybody's receipt so far there are thirty-five (35) numbers of "Reprint Receipts" from the "Reprint Receipt" I got and this man's "Reprint Receipt". This receipt has your name, your phone number, your medical information etc. being given to complete strangers without your permission or knowledge. Then you find out just by chance that someone is using your medical information to get prescriptions etc. So much for your Civil Rights.  The OCR or as many may know them as The Office of Civil Rights needs to be on government shutdown forever. Who is in bed with who here?
