Kana Masuyama ( 增山加奈 ) has been scamming friends and people for many years.  She claims to be a lawyer that does compliance in Hong Kong with links to many rich families across asia and pretends to be running start ups with the kids of these well known families.  But in fact she is unemployed, and is grasping for air in Hong Kong.  By befriending these people from early on in her life while attending the same high school as them they were unaware of her and her long term intentions.  

By education Kana Masuyama is a lawyer who has failed to be called to the bar in her home country of Taiwan.  She has worked and lived in Tokyo and now resides in Hong Kong.   Claiming to a senior executive of her firm but in fact just a representative and not a Responsible Officer.

She has sustained herself over the years by utilizing her connections she has spent decades creating or when in times of need dating men who have means.  Most of her scams are of a personal nature using her years of being friends with people to take advantage of their trust.  

Kana Masuyama befriends wealthy friends who have no reason to doubt her and will even often pay for her meals, drinks, travel.  She jumps from one group of friends to the next as soon as they find out she is a fraud, or they stop giving her a free ride for everything. 

Currently she has been sustaining herself by asking for sizeable loans from friends which she has promised to paid back within days but to date it has been months from a few individuals.
