I found KB Custom Wood Works on a Facebook page, Farmhouse, Rustic and Vintage Things based out of Gilvert. He posted many beautiful pieces and even gave free give always on pieces. So I assumed he was legit. I then requested to be a part of his Facebook page KB Custom Wood Works. Upon being accepted I contacted him via private message on Facebook to see if he could make a custom TV console and small entryway bench. He said yes and that before he could start I would have to come and pay a deposit, half of the total price. On June 19th I drove to his home where I assumed his "shop" is located he filled out a piece of paperwork which I was not given a copy of because he said I didn't need it and I paid the $400 deposit and was told the pieces would be done in 7-14 days. On Saturday June 27th I texted him to see if the pieces were done and if we could schedule a delivery/pickup. He said it would be by the weeken and I never head from him at the end of the week. I texted him again on Wed Juky 8th and he again said by the weekend via text on July 9th. After still hearing nothing I sent him another text on Wed July 15th because he never answered my phone calls. I never got a response. His wife as she called herself (Brittany Naylor) finally got back to me and said he had a family emergency that he had to go out of town for and would be back by the next week. This was Juky 16th On July 23rd I sent Kevin and Brittany a text and even called. Brittany wrote me back saying he was still out of town. I waited till the 27th and sent another text/called. She responded with he still was out of town. At this point I am so frustrated. I then got back on their Facebook page and saw that there have been several people complaining about not getting their pieces and like myself payed a deposit and Brittany keeps deleting their posts off of the page all while adding new pieces to sell. What should I do? So frustrated! At this point all I want is my $400 back and I have told her that. I even said I would take what ever pieces she has available for immediate pickup with now no response.

I was sent this article by someone who stumbled on it and knew me from the news report in Denver about the Allens. If you ever meet Kevin Allen, run. He is a criminal and will never not be a criminal. I was a homeowner in Denver and he offered to rent 2 of our rentals under the name Mile High Management. He took both deposits 8 months rent and hid until i contaced 9News and the Arapahoe County DA. In fact, i am the homeowner who pulled the other 20+ victims together via court records and posts on the 9 News website and contacted the DA with the stories of all of the other victims to make sure he was convicted of his crimes. If my memory serves me, both he and his wife were convicted of class 3 felonies. He can't work anywhere where he handles other peoples money because of this conviction. He started small with pool tables, and hit it big in Denver where we estimate he stole over $150,000 along with his then wife. While all of us were struggling because of the money he stole, he was living large, buying cars, taking people out to fancy dinners, buying his wife jewelry and renting limos for his kids birthday parties. If he only stole $400 from you, consider yourself VERY lucky. Why he is not in jail for a very long time is frustrating for me.

You should do two things...
1. Call Gary Harper - News 3 On your Side -
2. File a police report.
This is not the first time that Kevin has done this... and he has MULTIPLE victims.

He has not been "out of town" - He has been in jail. He was arrested in July and didn't get out until about a week ago - and he is not really "out". He has to go back every night. He was arrested on a Child Support Arrest Warrant - according to the Gilbert PD there are multiple police reports that have been filed on his new business - people paying money and not getting their product.
Research - Kevin Allen, Powerhouse Billiards, Mile High Management, and look up all of the cases against him at www.maricopa.gov under "find a case". Civil cases, criminal cases, you name it. Do the same in Colorado. Multile victims. thousands of dollars stolen.
he has multiple felonies both in Arizona and Colorado... from stealing money from people.
Gary Harper from News 3 On your side has already received calls from other customers and is running a story on him - the more victims that come forward the more the word gets out and the better the case against him and Brittany.
