To whom every will be able to help me: I filed a claim with Kentucky Fried Chicken for damages done to my car due to neglence on their to remove snow from their lot. My car got stuck in the snow at the drive thru and while trying to move forward repeatedly, the engine BLEW.
I called a week later to file a claim, they had their lawyer call me with their decision (not his decision, but theirs) to refuse my claim. This is very disrespectful and I am desperately searching for someone from your office who maybe able to help me file a claim for my car repair, or for a replacement of the same make and model (which ever is easier).

Ok, so what you should do is go and file a small claims suit for damages done on your car.
Of course lawyers are going to say Nope no claim here. If you are gulable you will say Ok. And turn around and cry. But even though it is almost ridiculous that you would be at KFC during a snow storm and could see the snow was alot but still drove through the drive through? to lazy to get out of your car and go inside??? they should have kept that drive through clear. You might have a case and you might not seek a lawyer or prepaid help somewhere. Because they actually do have a great case against you unless you don't have common sense. You might be one of those people you see on the news driving through the river that overflowed and then your car gets stuck and you float down the river. So this would be up to you. If you would like to look like a idiot than go ahead and file a small claims suit. what ever you do I really do wish you luck. Maybe you should try mcdonalds next time around?

This report is a joke, right ? No one could be stupid enough to blow their engine at a drive through packed with snow. Why would someone even attempt to enter such a place ??? You reap what you sow.

The parking lot was packed with snow. YOU chose to go there anyway. YOU blew up your engine due to to lack of driving skill on YOUR part.
KFC did nothing to your car. YOU did it all.

If their parking lot was not plowed how were you able to get TO the Drive Thru? Would it not be pretty obvious that the lot was not plowed BEFORE you entered.
Why did it take you a week to file a claim. If your engine blew at their location would you not immediatly go into the KFC to make the management aware of it.
Also, can you explain in a bit of detail how an un-plowed lot led to a blown engine?
