Keystone Rv ripoff, unwilling to stand behind their product, product quality poor Goshen Indiana

We purchased a Keystone Springdale trailer in March 2006. We kept the trailer in storage for 20 days and then found that the trailer had water inside as a result of a defective rubber seal. Since the trailer was in storage, we didn't know that the trailer was defective and therefore rain moisture caused mold to appear on several areas of the trailer.

Since, we bought the trailer in March 2006, I have never used. The trailer has been either in Keystone's or Mike Thompson's possession.

On July 10 the dealer called to ask us to pick up the trailer, but we haven't because we wanted it tested for mold. I've been making payments for the unit without the benefit, because Keystone build a defective unit. Keystone argue that repairs were performed under warranty, but the fact is that it's taken months to even discuss a solution.

Initially, Mike Thompson (dealer) fixed the slider seal and called us to pick up the trailer, when we went to do so, the soft goods on the trailer exhibited mold. That's when Keystone decided to take it to Oregon, but by then the dealer was given a chance to fix it, which they didn't, Keystone was given a chance to fix , which they didn't according the testing conducted by an independent mold co.

My eight year old son has tested positive for an allergic mold reaction. He was hospitalized due a severe sinus infection triggered by an allergic reaction. I will
not put my sons health in jeopardy because Keystone decided that they don't stand behind their product. They need to realize once and for all, that the root of the problem is not my unwillingness to pick up a trailer, rather Keystone's inability to perform the repairs per the warranty.

The trailer still exhibits elevated counts of mold. The dealer and Keystone were afforded opportunities to repair, but They failed do to so. This problem was caused by the company and not me. In addition, if I ever sale the trailer, I have to disclose the mold issue, which will reduce the resale value significantly.

I was advised by my attorney to file with the DMV Bureau of Automotive repair and have them weigh in on this issue.
