I bought a 2004 Kia Sorento in August 2007. It has broke down on me 4 times. Ive had it in the shop 8 times. I bought this car because I have two young children and I needed a reliable car to get me where I needed to go. The first time the car broke down I was at my friends house and the car wouldn't start. I turned the key and nothing happened, not even a click. I called the tow truck and it took 2 hours to hear back from them. I finally got the car to start and took it up there myself. When I went and got the car back 3 hours later I was in knoxville 20 min. away from home it broke down again. I had both my kids with me and 2 other kids. I called Kia and it took 2 hours to get the tow truck there. I had to call someone to come get me and the kids. I got dropped off at the Kia dealership so I could get a rental car. There were very rude about giveing my a rental. I finally got my car back and it sounded funny. Keep in mind I havent had my car a month and ive drove rental cars more then my own. Well about 4 days later it brakes down again in the middle of the road. My husband had to push it home by him self. We called Kia and they sent a tow truck again. They fixed whatever they found. I finally go the car back AGAIN. About less then a month I went to go to work and my car wont start we called Kia and they came and got it once again. They fixed it again. They told me and my husband they cant do anything about it breaking down because they dont really know whats causing it to break down. We would like to trade it in for a diffrent one but they wont do it. Know there telling us we can either take the car and deal with it, or we can trade it in and pay negative equaty and 5000 dollars out of our pocket. They have no compassion for selling a innocent woman with 2 very young children a car that they knew was broke. I still have the warranty on it. It only has 48000 miles on it. Ive also had problems with the wiring. There was bad wiring in the lights. They had to replace them. They had to fix my passenger side window because it wouldnt roll down. I also had a seatbelt that was broke and it was a saftey thing because it wouldnt stay buckeled and I have kids. It seems to me that the company is not fixing the problem there putting a bandaid on a broke arm so to speak. They are going around the problem and fixing the little stuff and not fixing whats making the little stuff go wrong. I believe they want the warranty to run out so they dont have to fix the real problem. I asked for all the paper work that shows what theyve done on the car but they beat around the bush and wont give me what I need. They are rude and hateful and I wish I would have never come apon this dealership.

If anyone can help please let me know.
