Kinetico/Maricopa Water Processing Systems Warranty Rip Off

Kinetico, a water softener (distributed through Maricopa Water Processing Systems 602-437-2474) charged us $750.00 to replace a tank that burst on a system we purchased about 5 years ago. They refuse to honor their 10 year warranty.

They claim our residential water pressure exceeded 125 psi. The City of Phoenix has documentation proving the water pressure in the area never comes close to 125 psi.

This system was installed by Kinetico and regularly maintained by Kinetico, as per warranty instructions.

Maricopa Water Processing Systems refuses to honor the warranty because the equipment manufacturer assumes the water pressure caused the problem although the City of Phoenix can prove otherwise.

Obviously, the warranty is a useless document.

The staff at Maricopa Water Processing Systems are great when you are purchasing their product and rude when you trying to resolve a problem.
