Me and my wife got season passes to Kings Island in December before Christmas We did the option of paying for them on April 1st comes out your checking account. In Jan. i lost my job and thought i could find a job fast well here it is in march 3 days away from april 1st and still no job lost my house and barely living off my wife's 8 dollar an hour job we called kings island a few weeks ago trying to get out of it due to what has happen they told us NO and sell the papers we printed off the computer to someone that they do no refund them what so ever even though its just a coupon and not the actual pass. We tried every option to sell the tickets and now i called them back explaining the lose of house and having to move into her parents in AZ. They told me they could not do anything and it would over draft my account with the bank that they do not refund nothing someone needs to do something about this now moving and will have no money to do anything will have minus in bank account and no food i see that kings island does not care about no one but them selfs

No Kings Island ripoff.

I'm sorry, but in this case there was no ripoff. It is a difficult situation, indeed. I, too, lost my job last year, but the simple fact is that Kings Island did nothing wrong here. It is really too bad that the timing of ordering your pass and the loss of your job lined up the way it did, but that is your responsibility, I'm afraid. They set clauses of no refund, and that is across the board for everyone, no matter how unfortunate the circumstance. They have a business to run and they can't run it on good intentions and promises. I hope you understand that I am not attacking you, and I am sure your frustration is what drove you to post this, but you have to step back and see with clarity that you are accountable for your actions, not Kings Island.

I hope you come to that conclusion. I wish more people in the world could step up and take their own blame. It sucks, you feel horrible, but life goes on and this will all be a blip in the past one day. Good luck, and I wish you the best.
