I hired Kings Moving & Storage to move a 1 bedroom apartment in July 2008. The phone number I called for service was 727-842-8006. I spoke to the owner, whom had a think New York accent, he said it was a $50.00 deposit which will go towards the total cost at move in. No issues there. Paid over the phone with a credit card. The manager said it would be $80.00 per hour to get 2 guys to move my 1 bedroom apartment. He estimated a 1 bedroom apartment move would take his guys 2 hours to complete based on history of his companies service. The manager did not inform me up front that there would be another $50-$80 processing fee when the final bill was presented. The 2 guys/movers showed up a half hour late. They actual movers were nice guys, but working for a not-so-great company. And FYI: their movers look nothing like the people they show on their website: http://www.kingsmoving.com/ The movers complained about the 3 flights of stairs, which I told them about in advance. Complained about all of the little boxes I had, which in the end, they did not move. I had to move those all myself. Why did I hire movers to move only half my apartment but paid full price? They movers made me move my computer and smaller TV, said they were not going to touch those. The movers would not move anything on my porch, such as a chair or larger potted plants. They did move the couch, bed & kitchen table. The movers were tired and said they were "about done", as it was clearly their lunch time. They presented me with a bill and I asked them what were these fees? Not a legitimate response. They did not want to move the other smaller items left in the apartment. I still gave them a check for the total amount due, then gave them a $50.00 cash tip. It was only about 2 hours of service. After the movers left and they didn't finish the job, I cried looking around the apartment at all the stuff I had to move myself with no help, but already paid and tipped them. I called the manager on the same day of July 2008 right after the movers left, to report the issue I had with Kings Moving Company Services and he was so unprofessional for a business owner. The manager actually yelled in the phone with his NY accent and said verbatim "go f**k yourself". I don't give a rats a** what you think or if you would ever recommend my company". I didn't know what to do. I had never experienced that type of customer service and non-resolution from the owner of a company. It was disgusting how Kings Moving handled the situation. The manager was so irrate, rude and cursed at me. I told my apartment complex office about the horrible service and irrate buisness owner of Kings Moving Service and asked them to ban from promoting them as a company for people to use. I dont want anyone to experience this, so please consider and research whom you use for moving services. Ask a friend for a reliable company that you know gives you upfront costs, plus good, full service.

The owner of Kings Moving Company told me to "go f**k myself" after I tried to call him and tell him I was unhappy with their service and fees". I was stunned at how unprofessional and rude he was.

I hired Kings Moving & Storage to move a 1 bedroom apartment in July 2008. The phone number I called for service was 727-842-8006. I spoke to the owner, whom had a think New York accent (I only say this in case you call too), he said it was a $50.00 deposit which will go towards the total cost at move in. No issues there. Paid over the phone with a credit card. The manager said it would be $80.00 per hour to get 2 guys to move my 1 bedroom apartment.

Its funny that they show pictures "of their employees" on their website: http://www.kingsmoving.com/ , the actual movers don't look like this.

The movers complained about the 3 flights of stairs, asked me personal questions and offered up information on their personal lives. Hmm, not what I thought of moving services when I hired them.
