I did an online layaway order through Kmart.com on July 11, 2013. I decided not to wait the 8 weeks to pay it off, so I paid it off 5 days later on July 16, 2013. By July 22, 2013 the order still had not shipped even though the money had already cleared my bank account. I started calling them on July 22, 2013. That day I was told that the order should ship later that day. By 6pm July 23, 2013 the order still had not shipped. I then called back and was told they were putting in a que for a lost order and I would be contacted by email. I called again on July 24, 2013 because I have recieved no such email. They said that the order was stuck in a loop and they would contact an offline team to handle it and I should hear something by Friday. Once again, I never heard anything.

I waited until Monday July 29, 2013 and called again. Was told they were going to contact the delivery team because the order should have been delivered on July 24, 2013. Said a manager would call me back in the morning. Never got a phone call so Tuesday afternoon July 30, 2013 I called again. They said they sent the information to an offline team on July 29, 2013 and it takes 24-48 hours to hear back. I then asked if they could just cancel the order so I can go to the store and purchase the items I need. They said they can send a request and that could take 24-48 hours and there is a chance the request can be denied. I called again today and was on the phone for 35 mins 30 of which I was on hold. Then I was hung up on.

I have tried to explain to them that I ordered a carseat because I am pregnant and really need this product. I have asked multiple supervisors to cancel the order and either refund the money to my account or even in form of a gift card so I can go to the store and get the carseat. I keep being told no. They won't even change it from a shipping order to a store pick up order. I feel as if they have stolen from me since I haven't received my product and they took the money from my account. Everytime I talk to someone I just get a run around and I can't get any answers to what is going on with my order. It is very frustrating. I will never again place a layaway order online through Kmart.com or possibly even a regular order.

 I have the same thing going on. Paid off layaway and never received merchandise. To the tune of over $300. I have been dealing with this unsuccessfully since October 14th. Customer service and corporate office do nothing. Often get disconnected when on phone with customer service. And all email communications say the same thing and are just made up excuses
