I hired Kong Sheds to build a custom shed at my home recently. It was my experience from the beginning that they will nickel and die you for all of the extras, meaning you may start at a $2500 price but by the time you leave you will be paying $4,000. This is for simple items like trim, windows, doors, anything you add will be extra. Which is to be expected as you upgrade but it felt a little misleading. theni was promised my shed would be built in 1 day, most likely 4-5 hours. This was wrong, it took 3 days. 3 Days of mud, saw dust, nails all over my driveway and the worst part was they didn't clean any of it up. they left a gigantic mess ruining the color of my stained cement which i had to pay $500 to have re-colored. Then to top it all off the final project in which i had paid for they full on stiffed me!!! I had hired workers on Saturday to finish a portion of a custom job, when Jessica the owner called me 4 hours before they were supposed to deliver the products and upped doubled the price they had quoted me. For no reason other than to basically rip me off more!!! BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY...THEY OFFER A LIFE TIME WARRANTY BUT HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS 2 YEARS? How can you trust a lifetime warranty from a company in its 2nd year? If they go belly up which 90% of all small businesses do in the first 5 years, your warranty that you paid extra for will be worth ZERO! I DONT LIKE DOING BUSINESS WITH COMPANIES THAT MIS-REPRESENT PRICES, PRODUCTS, OR WARRANTY INFO...IT ALWAYS LEADS TO PROBLEMS!!!
