La Fitness Pro Results Misrepresentation, lies, take money out of checking account, scam ripoff La Verne California

I signed up for a 6 month session of training in March of 07. I did not sign a contract because when they printed it up I saw where it stated that we had to have it come from our checking account. After being burned by Body of Change (also purchased throughLa Fitness 5 years ago) the company went under telling us that Body of Change was a separate company from La Fitness and had gone out of business.

I decided to give this a second try because Paul, the manager told us that he woukd make sure the events from last time did not occur again.

when he printed up the contract and we saw 12 months and that we had to have the funds taken from a checking account we decided not to sign.

Our trainer did not show up 5 different times and we have accumuloated a string if sessions but we cannot use them till our contract us up

I have wasted time to drive several times and not had the trainer show. Then they say they can give you a different person but they dont have anyone right then, because they are all with people

I called to cancel and they told me at corportate that i had verbally agreed to a 12 month membership. I had to argue for 1/2 hour and threaten a litigation to finally get him to realize that I was right and he agreed to cancel
