Buyers Beware USA Card Services and Ladco Leasing FRAUD!!!

Why do I think they are fraud? I can prove it. I still have the Sales Presentation that the USA Card Services sales representative, Brian Parker, used to sign me up on a 48 month non-cancellable lease.

Here's what happened On 2004, I was looking for an Internet Payment Gateway. I decided to use Authorize.net. One of the resellers listed was USA Card Services. Authorize.net provided a link to the website, www.usacardservices.com. When I checked out USA Card Services website, they were offering an e-Business in a Box. Now they call is e-Commerce in a Box.

USA Card Services' e-Business in a Box provides an all-in-one solution for Internet Retailers. As it states in the sales presentation, this package includes FOURTEEN different services: (1) 50 page Ecommerce website; (2) Internet Marketing Training; (3) Internet Marketing Certification; (4) Virtual Credit Card Terminal; (5) Check by Fax, Phone, & Internet; (6) Shopping Cart; (7) 1-year of Hosting; (8) Submission Top Search Engines; (9) Pay Per Click Advertising; (10) 1 year GoSmallBiz.com Membership; (11) Domain Name Registration 1year; (12) Mkt, Demographic, & Analyst Research; (13) 250 Color Business Cards; and (14) Accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover.

One of the requirements to sign up for this package was a brief interview with the sales representative and to sign a non-cancellable lease for 48 months. This non-cancellable lease requires that I provide my bank information for Automatic Bank Transfer for the monthly payment of $139.99. (This was increased without notice to me).

The interview processMr. Parker asked a series of questions, basically to confirm how much I will be processing every month. He didn't introduce himself as a Sales Representative, but rather a Consultant. He was supposed to provide me a solution that best fit my business needs.

Here's the problem I received from the company was a REFURBISHED CREDIT CARD machine. It was not even listed in the FOURTEEN things that I was supposed to get in the e-Business in a Box package. But I figured this is a package deal so it may be included in this e-Business in a Box that I purchased. So, I let it slide. Placed it at the corner of my home office and used it only to do a sample purchase because it was required to set up the credit card machine.

I asked USA Card Services to provide me with a different machine manual credit card imprinterthe one I believe I would benefit from but I never received it. I just received a couple of emails from the Amanda of USA Card Services basically stating that they are working on it.

Set-up Problem on my 50 page eCommerce website It was too much of a hassle to set-up the website with Colony1.net. I keep on getting this information that they are working on it. That was it Two emails stating that Colony1 is working on my website, but no result. When I email them questions, I get the same answer.

As a business owner, I can't wait forever. I am already paying for the monthly payment of $139.99. When will they finish setting up my website So where is my 50 page eCommerce website? Where is my Shopping Cart with Unlimited Product? Hosting services for the full-year is also provided by Colony1.net! Need I say more?

The problem with Internet Marketing Certification and Internet Marketing Training Hmm where do I start? They set-up a website that tells you how to market your company Not really a Training. It is as good as reading a book about marketing. Here's the funny part The Certificate is issued when you look at all the Training stuff they put together online.

The Virtual Card Terminal this is the only service I needed but I got sucked with a lease for something I did not authorize. Authorize.net has been reliable, no issues there.

Check by Fax, Phone, & Internetdid not receive this service at all. My Virtual Card Terminal from Authorize.net does not allow me to accept checks online. I don't even have to option to activate it.

Submission to TOP SEARCH ENGINE and Pay Per Click Advertising problemNothing there, basically the Company creates a username and password for you. You do the submission on your own. The expense on these is out of your own pocket, not included in the $139.99. There is really no monthly service as they claimed it to be.

And the last Four Items GoSmallBiz.com membership; Domain Name Registration; Mkt, Demographic, & Analyst Research; and 250 Color Business Cards: I did not receive them at all. Nothing!

The lists of problems could go on and on. When I address the issue and request to cancel the service, all I get is that I signed a contract and that it's non-cancellable. There is no attempt for these Companies to try to resolve the issues at all.

So why did it take me two years to act on this problem? Well, Ladco Leasing reports on my credit report. If I refuse to make any payments, then my credit would take a beating. Also, I am well aware that I signed a non-cancellable contract.

What made me act now despite the circumstance(s) I may face? I stumbled into a similar case, FTC v. Leasecomm. It's exactly the same. I wouldn't be surprise if Leasecomm, Ladco Leasing, and GlobalTech Leasing are affiliates. I also did a little research on Bait Advertising. I have a proof that the USA Card Services committed Bait Advertising.

So, those who may be a victim of USA Card Services and Ladco Leasing, file your complaint right away. File one to Attorney Generals, BBB, and FTC.
