okay, guys so you have been selected for a preliminary interview with Lamparter Marketing Group, Inc at whiteplan. the lady asked you are you currently looking for a full time position? didn't she? okay you said yes, then she asked you would you be able to start within next week? and you did say yes. she told you two different times on which you could make it to the interview? and you said yes? well you must be thinking how do i know all of this. well once i had been called for a preliminary interview with Lamparter Marketing Group, Inc my self. so i said wow really that fast, i just had posted my resume yesterday and hey it is a jews holyday. anyways i went there. first of all it was very hard for me to find the address but i said to my self that every good thing come hard at first. i went to the 2nd floor. the office door had some different marketing firm name. however, i went in and there i saw a few people waiting on to be interviewed. i hand in my resume to the lady sitting on the front desk.she gave me questioner to answer a few questions. while i am sitting and waiting in a place which didn't even look like an office which would need some additional people working. i am sitting and waiting the music is a little loud for an office i said to my self. the lady on the front desk was searching through a whole list of resume that she had downloaded through online job hunters. not just that, she was actually so stupid that she was calling over the resume list front of everyone. she was sounding to them like that they are the only people that are selected and she actually sounded like she had memorized a script that she was going through it so fast. okay a few people left after they were interviewed. i just didn't feel that things are right. i went after one person that was interviewed before me and he was so pumped and up that he said oh this is a great company. so i waited to be interview. oh god it is my turn to be interviewed. i was a little nervous, i just didn't know how will i act due to the fact that i have been on not many job interviews. okay the guy was talking fast, really fast, half of the time i didn't even what was he talking about. however, the deal was to sell some verizon product. direct marketing which he explained this and that. the target market for the product was consumer. the deal was that i would go door to door and sell verizon product with my own expenses mean travel or whatever needs and if i sold i will get commission. wow seem like i be working for them while i have to pay for it? and they advertise their jobs as 30,000 to 45,000 USD salary? if it is a salary then why am i getting commission? and my personality is to ask questions, so i am like hey am i getting any base salary? or it is all comission, the guy who interviewed me turned blue and red, he was like oh it is totally comission. thus i made up my mind that it is just a scam thing and it is not what i thought was it. he told me oh there will be a second interview and this and that but i had made my mind and i just said oh call me and i will let you know. so guys now it is up to you to work or not but if you are up there want to work in marketing i am not sure this is how you do marketing. market someone else's product with your own money? the most expesive marketing technique for free.

Probably the same as BMK Marketing Group in White Plains, NY

AUTHOR: Jane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 04, 2006

Muhammad,

The company you reported sounds like the same company I have reported in White Plains. Read my posts about BMK Marketing Group, Inc. This may be the same company doing business under another name. I heard they moved from their previous location at 7-11 S. Broadway. If it is them, it's a good thing you didn't take this job. You might have lived to regret it just like 99% of us who have taken a job with them or any other "Cydcor-like" company.

You don't get paid for months at first, you work over 60 hours a week with no benefits. You will have no time for friends or family, and you become totally brainwashed into thinking you will be rich in no time. Then when you finally do get paid it's a measly $250 every two weeks. You can't live off of that even if you only have a cell phone bill and you live at home. You still have to eat and commute to work and pitch in for gas and team nights.

In my time at BMK, I have seen many corrupt practices. When I thought I would eventually receive a huge paycheck (thinking my commissions were being withheld and I would get a lump sum) I was considering buying a car. The manager told me he would forge some paystubs if I needed him to, to show the dealership proof of employment. He told me he does it all the time for employees that are looking for apartments. This should have sent up that red flag in my head. I just thought he was being nice. Looking back, I was so naive.

We were told that first we work off commission, but after 6 months you receive salary and benefits. But they don't tell you that's only IF you make it to assistant manager in that time. Our assistant manager didn't even get benefits. And it took her over a year to even get her own office after that.

It's all a big scam. I wish I had seen it sooner.

I was all gung-h*o for the business until I was tired of going business to business trying to get people to contract themselves to verizon and having to lie to them about some of the services just to get a sale for the day, so I wouldn't be looked at in atmosphere as the one who rolled a donut. No high-fives for me.

If there are any other people out there that have had similar experiences and has been lied to and deceived by BMK Marketing, please post a complaint. The more posts that are made, the more it will show up on search engines when people research the company. Then hopefully BMK Marketing and companies as such will finally be exposed for being the frauds and scammers that they are, and we will have saved some people from years of debt and regret.

If you are in the business now, get out. Listen to your family and friends. They can all see it from the outside looking in, but if you are in it, it's hard to see what's really going on. Get out now before you can't afford your lifestyle anymore. Before your car and apartment are taken away from you. Before your friends leave you and you have to start asking your family to help support you, even though you have a job.

Please don't make the mistakes most of us did by sticking with companies like these. Read the hundreds of other posts about these multi-level marketing companies and hopefully they will enlighten you.
