Got a call from Spotlite Radio last week saying my company was chosen for an 8 minute interview for their live radio talk show.  The call was scheduled for today, Monday March 17th at noon.  After the call was completed, Todd Fields, Executive Producer phoned and said the interview got excellent ratings.  92% of the listeners stayed tuned in for the entire 8 minutes.  "Not something that commonly happens," I was told.  According to Todd, we got 927,000 listeners on that 8 minute interview with a whopping rating of 5.2.  The National Sponsors were very pleased and asked Todd to call us to schedule a 30 minute interview.  He said the 30 minute interview would give us worldwide press releases going on CNN, Google, NBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post and others with a guarantee of 50,000 hits on YouTube of the 30 minute inteview.  And we could put that inteview link on our social media pages like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.  Then, he says "the cost is only $850."  I told him I needed proof and data of the numbers he was claiming our interview brought in.  He then said he'd drop the cost to $500.  Great, but we need the supporting data to prove the cost of the $500 to analyze our rate of return on our investment.  He said he'd try to get the information and if he was able to we'd move forward and if not, we'd go our separate ways.  I found that statement odd, but on that note we hung up.  Something told me this was crap so I researched Spotlite Radio. I was pleasantly surprised to confirm my suspicions, those guys are BIG time scamers.  Don't give anyone that tells you they can maximize your business without 1st researching them especially if they can't even fulfill a simple request to provide you with data.  And if it sounds TOO good to be true, as this did, chances are your insticts are right.  I phoned Todd Fields, doubtful that's even his name, to advise him I was aware of their attempt to scam me out of money.  The person who answered hung up when I refused to give further information other than my first name.
