Lexington Law Liars, plain and simple. North Salt Lake, Utah

I decided, after being able to validate credit entries myself for many years, to allow "Lexington Law" to do it for me due to time constraints.

First, let me make it clear that I did not have a technical or financial problem paying them, my report is to show that they will lie to you about the fees, and their performance in removing items from the CRA's reports are unnacceptable.

First, I contacted them. I got an initial "person" who explained the process to me. I was VERY clear on how the payments would be to them about the initial payment, their charge for pulling your credit report, and how often and when the payments would be made to them. We started in February. He explained to me about the initial fee of $12.95 I think it was, for them to pull the credit reports, that they would take out the $99.00 on the 18th of the month, and that they wouldn't take out my first payment until the 18th of the following month. After repeatign this several times, I allowed him to transfer me t othe "setup" person who would then set up my account and take my money.

This next person began to set me up, and I repeated to this person EXACTLY, word for word what the previous Lexington Law person told me, and they said No, that is not right, we take out the full $12.95, AND the 99.00 initial fee right then. (I was lied to). I told them that the first person told me the opposite. They said I must have misunderstood. (Yeah.......OK).

Anyway, I decided to let them continue, knowing I was most likely in for it. So, I had just paid them to open my account and paid them to begin the work. They said they HAD to have the money UP FRONT to begin the "Case work" on my "valet".

So over the next few months, I watched a total of 3 items on two credit reports be "removed". That is a total of 6 items removed over 6 months of service.

I remember having ALL of my items, a few years back removed when I did it myself within 3 months. I found out later that "Lexington Law" will only work on 3 items at a time. Do they have to do it that way? Absolutely not, they choose to, so they can prolong you paying them to do it.

So after 6 months of what I consider extremely unsatisfactory results, I decided to cancel my service with them.

After calling, and waiting for almost 15 minutes to get through to them, I finally talked to "Joy" (ironic name), and cancelled my service. Not surprisingly, I was lied to again, and was told I had to make another payment (Remember, I was told secondly, that you had to PREPAY up front before anything can be done) would have to be made on the 18th again (This was 16 days away) because the "work" had already begun for the next scheduled payment on the 18th, and I confronted them again about what they claimed earlier, and it came as no surprise when I was told yet again that I must have "misunderstood" them.

So, in conclusion, "Lexington Law Firm", which is a misnomer, WILL lie to you to get your money, not do the job that you rationally would expect them to do, and gets few results for your money.

Oh, by the way, seeing the 99.00 per month I was paying, I was alos their "PREMIER Concorde" customer. Wow, that title was wonderful to have (tongue in cheek), I wonder whow others who were not paying as much as myself were treated.
